This isn’t fair to you, and even if the person doesn’t really know they are hurting you this way you’re allowed to set boundaries. For any type of relationship to work boundaries are needed— and setting them will tell you if this person was genuinely not meaning to do this or they were meaning to based on their reaction.

If they get mad at you for setting fair boundaries like this they were never a friend, You deserve better, I’m sorry :((

Omg i hope this is like an okay thing to send here but this person mutualed me and started really complimenting my selfship but now they’ve been spamming me to talk about their f/o. i noticed they only used the compliments to segway into talking about their f/o and kinda keep trying to fish for compliments from me. like i feel like they kinda friendbombed (lovebomb but like w “friendship” yk what i mean) me??? they’ve just been really overwhelming me. i had to turn off my activity because they keep texting the second i come online. I’m not great with social cues, i don’t know if this is normal or not.

Am i overreacting?? i really wanna make friends in the yume community but i do not like this :(

I don't think it's overreacting at all personally, even if they had good intentions you being uncomfortable by it is also valid, especially if they only really make room for their own interests (though I don't know enough about the situation to be definitive, I hope this helps in a way)

I am writing these words after losing hope in everyone… except for you, my friends. Tumblr has a very large number of users, estimated in the millions . That’s an enormous number! My four-year-old sister Soso has caught chickenpox from other children while her body and immune system have been weakened to the extreme by the war. Her state is not normal for a simple case of chickenpox. She’s battling a high fever while we all suffer from the intense heat without windows or clean fresh water. She doesn’t even have the energy to fight for the phone anymore.

I’m eternally grateful to everyone who shared my last post and those who donated. We were able to buy a few fever reducers. I truly wish what we’ve received was enough, but Soso also needs food to get better. Clean water is also our greatest dream. I know it sounds exaggerated, but I swear it’s true, a single 25kg bag of flour costs $1,000 in my area. That’s why I have to keep asking…

Please help me save my sister. Our family of 10 is ready to make any sacrifice if it means she gets to be healthy. Unfortunately, for months she’s been malnourished, sick, exhausted and traumatized. Please at least share if you can’t afford to donate so that my voice will reach those who can 🙏🙏
