Lately, my sister and I have finished playing the Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright trilogy, and I now perfectly know who my absolutely favourite character of the series is 😂💙 I love how Diego is written, I needed to draw a fan art of him 💙 (Him being an ENTP is an additional factor 😂 I wish to see more ENTPs like him in fiction, and I could elaborate on that 😂)

Inktober -10- Roses

/"Roses" by the Chainsmokers - Troye and Rose/

"Roses" is one of the first songs I've put on the "Transfuzja" playlist, and it reminds me, of course, of Rose ^^

It also reminds me of the time I was writing the very first chapters, and of the beginnings of Troye and Rose's relationship.

And it's the last entry of this year's Inktober! Thank you all for following, reading about my characters (I just won't shut up everytime I can talk about them), and listening to the fragments of the songs I've put on my Insta stories - or maybe you felt encouraged to listen to some of the songs on your own? Inktober -9- Colors

/"Colors" by Halsey - Mond Elliot and Bella Dane/

Today, you may see who Mond missed, lying on his bed and staring at a hair tie - it was BELLA DANE. You could already see her on my Instagram profile in some of my previous artworks with Mond ^^

Mond and Bella have both a rather negative and hopeless attitude towards life, however, as Bella spends more time with Mond, she becomes attached to him emotionally, and starts to think more positively about herself. But... is she able to actually awaken Mond's feelings, too?

Inktober -8- Black Teeth

/"Black Teeth" by SYML - Drew Elliot and Nina Green/

When I heard this song for the first time, I immediately thought of Drew and his relationship with Nina.

Nina Green is a human girl, with her own problems and need of being constantly appreciated and looked after. After meeting Drew, she thought he would give her everything she needed, but... was it really worth it? For her idea of a perfect life for herself, she had to pay a certain price... and she's slowly starting to regret it.

Inktober -7- Hollow

/"Hollow" by Belle Mt. - Rose/

The lyrics of "Hollow" seem to be the way Troye sees Rose to me. When Troye realised how lonely and broken Rose actually is, he knew a relationship with her would affect him, too. Yet, at the end, he chose to stay by her side and to give her everything he had to help her, no matter how it would destroy him. The song also describes Rose's struggles with herself because most of the time she chooses to be alone, so that she wouldn't hurt people around her.

Inktober -6- Emotional Anorexic

/"Emotional Anorexic" by Svavar Knútur/

This song is so beautiful and it describes Mond perfectly, with his inability to feel real emotions. As I described earlier, Mond's indifference is really toxic for him, as he has trouble living in a society, so he just stays isolated and grows the distance even further. Then one day, he meets someone with a similar attitude to life, but when she says she wants to disappear for good too, he doesn't let her. Why? He doesn't know himself.

In today's drawing, Mond is staring at that certain someone's hair tie, smelling her scent, and wishing he weren't so unemotional...

Inktober -5- Run

/"Run" by Daughter - Onyks and... ?/

Onyks Thompson is a character that hasn't really appeared in the story yet... 😂 And I can't say much about her... BUT one thing I can tell you is that she would do absolutely anything for her fatally ill brother.

But... Who is there behind her? Why does she have to... run? 🤔

If you have any ideas, it would be interesting for me to read them in the comments! Even if you don't read the story, you can always speculate ^^

Inktober -4- Fragments

/"Fragments" by Jaymes Young - Troye and Rose/

Once again, Jaymes Young's song, and once again, Troye and Rose. Today I have the chance to tell you more about their relationship.

Troye has always unconsciously idealised Rose, and Rose really wanted to avoid him so as not to hurt him, because she knew that her vampire instinct will one day dominate her and she will eventually drink his blood. They both actually are afraid of falling in love, but they don't want to be separated either, so they begin a relationship even they can't really define.

Troye was just a good-hearted young man who wanted to love Rose unconditionally and chase her darkness away, but due to a certain idea he had, they both begin a dangerous and addictive relationship that will continue to destroy them the more they love each other.

Inktober -3- Moondust

/"Moondust" by Jaymes Young - Mond/

Mond Elliot, Drew's younger brother and Rose's cousin. He's a lonely and timid vampire with immobilising powers. For a reason that will be explored later in my story, Mond is unable to feel real emotions. Most of the time, he is indifferent and wishes to just vanish from existence. The only time he gets to feel real emotions is when he creates abstract paintings by just splattering the paint onto a canvas.

Raymond has always considered himself to be somewhat connected to the moon, which he saw as an isolated and cold being. Also, his nickname "Mond" actually means "moon" in German 🌙

Inktober -2- Mind Games

/"Mind Games" by Sickick - Drew/

Drew Elliot, Rose's cousin. He's a mysterious vampire with mind reading powers. He's got a peculiar charm, and is usually hard to resist. He tends to be manipulative, as he enjoys playing with people just as like with puppets. He sure seems to be dangerous and brutal, but isn't there any hope left for him at all?

"Mind Games" is a song that seems to describe Drew just perfectly, and I'm even considering creating an animatic with it.

Inktober -1- In My Veins

It's time to begin the Inktober challenge!

This year, I'm drawing my characters and the prompts will be titles of the songs from a playlist which I treat as a soundtrack of my original story "Transfuzja."*

🗓️ I will post every Friday and Sunday of October, so there will be (hopefully) 10 artworks overall.

🎶 With every post, I will introduce some other song from the playlist, and I'll put its fragment in my Insta Stories on my Instagram (ig: lilzi_art)

👥 In this year's Inktober, I will try to tell you something about my characters and encourage you to listen to the songs I chose 💙

*The English title of the story would be "Transfusion." For now, it is only available in Polish, but once I finish, I wish to translate it into English.

/"In My Veins" by Andrew Belle - Troye and Rose/

Troye is a sensitive and shy young man, who fells in love with Rose - a charming and definitely mysterious young woman. Shortly, he realises that he fell in love only with his imagination of Rose... But before that happens, things between them become really complicated, as Troye discovers that Rose is actually a vampire who's been trying to drink his blood the whole time.

I find the song "In My Veins" by Andrew Belle very accurate about Troye and Rose's relationship, as they both tried to forget about each other numerous times, but their paths crossed again and again, just as if they were bound by fate.
