The Construct Formerly Known As Tlacey’s Comfort Unit.
As imagined by Midjourney, because I can’t draw to save my life, alas, but will happily spend hours editing pictures in powerpoint.

"Movies & TV shows should stop over-rRepresenting sexual minorities, they're only minorities, after all" is a sentiment I've come across just one time too often.
Sounds plausible? Let me provide some context here. As a matter of fact, movies and TV shows are positively obsessed with over-representing minorities. If, for instance, transsexual / transgender people were (over-)represented to the same degree as police offers are, then we'd have at least two shows daily that featured trans protagonists (and correspondingly, six with asexual, six with bisexual, and 12 with lesbian or gay ones; every day). Strange how that doesn’t happen.
(Full disclosure: My estimate of two police shows daily is based on a cursory glance at TV programmes; it’s meant to be a ballpark figure, not a precise one.)
