I was getting worried that Hazel hadn't texted me in a couple of days, but then I went "You know what? She is all grown up now, I'm sure she's doing fine"
A wonderful Pokemon chinese animated short film directed by DaiWei (All Saints Street) and produced by MTJJ / HMCH studio (Legend of Hei) for Chinese New Year.
Typhlosions again, now with bonus Quilava and Cyndaquil! Their shapes are just SO satisfying to draw. Hope ya enjoy my more realistic take on these Pokemon :D
Has anyone else ever had issues with conflict among their pokemon by nature? I've been a trainer for nearly 20 years and let me tell you, it took a lot of trial and error to get some peaceful balance among my pokemon. Especially because we only pokeball for vehicle travel and in places that would stress the pokemon.
Like, I have a Scyther, right? But I also have a Hitmonchan. My Scyther, Champion, I got pretty early on in my trainer experience, so he got used to being "top dachsbun" among my pokemon. But then I caught a Hitmonchan.
The problem with this is that Hitmonchan are social battlers. They love to spar, and mine, Shudo, prefers to have a partner over solo training. Now around this time Champion was the only pokemon I had with arms, so he was the obvious choice for a sparring partner in Shudo's eyes.
Now the REAL problem here is that Scyther live in packs in the wild, and the leader of that pack is chosen by challenge battle. A leader who loses a challenge battle is EXILED from the pack. So Champion, who was my largest and strongest pokemon at the time, took Shudo's friendly spar as a leadership challenge, and it could have ended VERY badly for one or the other.
Thank god their typings resist each other, which gave me time to separate them before any harm could be done, and nowadays my Lucario has been an incredible help with smoothing over the issues that I can't communicate to my other pokemon.
What kind of unexpected conflicts have you had between pokemon due to their natural behaviors?
Sometimes I’ll read a short blurb on the premise of a movie or story and my brain will completely misinterpret it and I’ll be picturing what it looks like and then I’ll actually watch it and realize it was completely different and that’s where 90% of my original story ideas come from.
i feel like being a dragon type trainer would be the pokemon universe equivalent of being a horse girl because the whole thing would just be so complicated and expensive. there’s just no way someone with a dragonite or a salamence is ever going to shut up about having a dragonite or a salamence. something about owning a huge beast
The last episode of Guzma's character arc was more amazing than I ever could have anticipated. So I made a comic about Guzma, Golisopod and their feelings.
This is just part 1, part 2 is gonna be in a reblog of this post cause tumblr only allows 10 pictures per post
