The cucco knows where it is at all times. For those that don't know, as I don't talk about this on my blog much, endogenic systems are systems (multiple people in one body) that did not form from trauma.

The creators of the theory of structural dissociation (the leading theory on system formation in psychiatric spaces), and leading experts in psych spaces support the existence of endogenic systems.

It is also worth noting that here, we believe people about their subjective internal experiences. Sysmedicalism (the idea that systems can only be disordered, which often goes hand in hand with endogenic exclusion) bears many similarities to transmedicalism, as demonstrated here, and here is an example of the tactics anti-endos use while not providing any sources to back up their claims that trauma is a requirement for systemhood (or that traumatizing children would be "necessary" to prove a causative relationship between trauma and all system formation, including that of non-disordered systems)

Anti-endos are a high-control hate group that base their entire existence around hating and harassing another group of systems for existing. They use similar tactics to TERFs and religious cults like Jehovah's Witnesses to maintain their membership (including sending people to harass endogenic systems and pro-endos under the pretense of "converting" them, while relying on the unfriendly and hurt responses of the people being harassed to position themselves as the only "safe" people. It's worth noting that many are singlets (non-systems) themselves, and that they are not meaningfully different from any other group that pretends to be "protecting" a marginalized group (women, binary trans people, "real" disabled people, etc) by attacking another subgroup of marginalized people (trans people, nonbinary people, people they deem "fakers" for arbitrary reasons, etc).

Anyway, when one group is saying "our identity is valid, we exist, we are real, this is what our own experience of our own minds is" and another is saying "you're lying fakers trying to steal resources from REAL marginalized people and spreading misinformation about your own lives", and then harassing, suicide baiting, sending gore and rape and death threats en masse, and so on, well, I would encourage you to listen to the people explaining their own experiences with compassion and willingness to learn. I know that most in this fandom are better than falling for hate and misinformation.

Additionally, if anyone is here to argue with me, spew hate, or otherwise engage in bad faith, do us both a favor, save us both time, and block me instead. I don't engage with bigots on any level, because I refuse to platform you any more than is absolutely necessary for people's safety. You will get neither my time nor my energy nor any engagement whatsoever.

This server is anti-nontraumagenic systems. If you are in the LoZ fandom and endogenic, mixed origin, pro-endogenic, or use other labels (such as adaptive, created, quiogenic, praesigenic, etc) this exchange and the people leading it are unsafe and bigoted.

Sticking this back in the tags for reach, protecting other plurals will always be more important than fandom stuff.

Anyway, I voted yes but rescind my interest. If anyone is interested in a safe, inclusive AU exchange I cannot run it but would be happy to promote it!

For those who don’t know, I am the technical admin for a Minecraft server. Now I have slightly above average skills with computers, but nothing to call home about, since computers generally act weird around me. That said I was the best equipped for it so me and @the-seelie-court-official started it up together, me for technical stuff and Dion for community stuff.

Now let me tell you about the Haunting on the Minecraft server.

One of the things I wanted to set up was NPC shop keeps. Now these shop keeps look like players, and I can code them to type in chat and to walk around, but they aren’t players. They aren’t counted in the server list, they only say the words I’ve given them. One of these Npcs was Herb, the Herbalist. They sold plants.

This was their skin, by the way.

Now one day herb stopped talking, this was odd so I tried to select them, like I had done so many times before, but it wouldn’t work. Whenever I tried I was met with error messages. I couldn’t select them, so I couldn’t delete them, I couldn’t move them, they had cut their strings and I the puppet master was forced to place an end portal beneath them and drop them into the void.

I thought this would be the last of it.

Fast forward a couple months and the server is up and running for public use. The players got into the end to find the end dragon missing, and upon building out to make an enderman farm we found herb. They were hovering, in the void. Easily accessible, I still couldn’t select them to change them or edit them so we just let them stay, floating above the yawning void that was meant to get rid of them.

Over time the server got more and more glitchy, chunks were being loaded by the thousand with only one or two people on at a time. After some serious sleuthing we (me and my team) found that the server recognized a ghost player. One that wasn’t listed when you pressed Tab, but was listed on the server side. The console of the server was filled with error messages almost constantly, cascading errors of Null, of Not Found despite the fact herb was right there.

Eventually it came to a head, the corn plants and slimefun crops went Wrong. Corrupted just like herb. And with fields of Steve heads staring back from what should be a farm we agreed that we would completely delete the world. The world that herb was in, that whole dimension. In hopes it would finally get rid of them.

We thought it worked, that we had finally be rid ourselves of this beast of my own creation. An hour later Herb Appeared at the world spawn. As if nothing had happened.

Finally I had to resort to burying them in a bedrock box directly under world spawn, because while I couldn’t move them I could break the blocks under them to make them fall. They sit down there trapped, vomiting error messages any time they are looked at or touched. Waiting for the chance to destroy what we have built.
