yeah the clean slate thing is tricky for me because i want but atthe same time i don't. idk. Like there are things about Lino I wanna get rid of. Mostly just that I miss sylvia so much. and like with Lys I kind of wanna start all over.

Born February 9th, 1997, to Rabastan II and Alina Lestrange, Lino was raised in the traditional pureblood way. For the first ten years of his life he was rich, well educated, and happy as could be. As he got older though, his older brother left for Hogwarts, his baby sister, Tabitha, was born, and his parents became anxious. Unlike his brother Terge, who exploded his first pillow at the age of eight, Lino hadn’t been displaying any of the necessary traits to be sent a letter from Hogwarts. 

Behind closed doors Rabastan and Alina had become beyond fearful. Each night was battle between them and a select few trusted doctors who had all been giving them the same diagnoses. Lino was more likely than not a squib. They were told to wait just a couple more years, it wasn’t too late but the chances were low. As it grew closer and closer to his eleventh birthday they knew they’d run out of time. They also knew that for them to have a squib for a son would tarnish the family name. 

On December 13th, 2007, headlines of every newspaper and magazine in the wizarding world were plastered with the news of Lino’s untimely death. They were filled with page after page about the ten year old boy who had been unknowingly sick for several months and has now died on account of his illness. 

The truth was, Lino was sick. Suffering from hypothermia as he stood alone in the cold forbidden forest, attempting to find shelter under the trees. He wasn’t sure if  he was supposed to find something here in the woods to nurture himself or if he had intentionally been left to die. He assumed the latter and moved on. 

Surviving only two days on his own before he was found deep in the forest. He had been sniffed out by a young girl, seven at the time, Sylvia could smell him from a mile away. Leading her grandfather to him they took him in, carrying him to their home and tending to him until he was healed. 

This home of there’s was like nothing Lino had seen before, a sea of tents and bonfires and strange face after strange face. A refuge for criminals, runaways, or those who just couldn’t fit in. All of them camped out in the forest where they could live communally. This wasn’t ideal of course but for Lino it was a home and a family.

He has since lived the last ten years of his life there. Maintaining a close relationship with Sylvia and many of the other campies, Lino really had acquired a family. Along with his fellow outcasts Lino had also made friends with some of the students living at the school and the local townspeople. He lived much of his life this way. He kept in contact with his brother and sister under the radar of the media and his parents. 

While conspiracies popped up here and there of course Lino remained hidden. Never having thought to change his name, he still went by Lino, keeping his surname a secret though he was undiscovered. And with threats from his parents he has no choice to remain like this. After eight years living in secret though things were starting to change.

Lino was eventually found out after a scarring incident in which he lost not only Sylvia but also Tabitha. But girls had been murdered by Rabastan and in result he was both arrested and sentenced to death. Alina also imprisoned has been living out her life sentence. Lino was outed to the public. Terge rose to power in the Lestrange household. Lino being the only other survivor of the family has found himself in a strange position. Though choosing to stay at the camp with the people that matter most to him he now has the resources ad the ability to live a much happier and safer life. The death of his loved ones had impacted his severely though and as he slipped into depression he also slipped back into drugs.

The next two years had been a blur for Lino. He had fallen in love for the first time with a student, Jetson. They had profoundly changed each other’s lives for the worse and the better. Both nearly losing themselves more than once to their own volatile relationship it ended roughly. They both remain tied to each other most likely for the rest of their lives. However they have moved on to a degree.

Lino, though he still has a home at the camp, spends most of his time at the home of Vincent Perez, a man he dreams of marrying. Together they’re working on raising a baby and getting their lives put back together. Lino’s been doing his best to take things easy, keeping away from not only his old vices but also the public eye.
