THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS:
Dearest. There are no accidents and he would have found us one way or another. Everything comes full circle. Be grateful it was sooner rather than later. Youâll think it harsh of me to say so, but no explanation I offer will satisfy you. Please donât be angry when I tell you that you seek resolutions and explanations because youâre young. But you will understand this one day. And when it happens, I want you to imagine me there to greet you, our lives stretched out ahead of us, a perpetual sunrise. But until then, there must be no contact between us. I have much to do, and you, my darling, even more. Please believe that I would do anything to see you happy. So, I do the only thing I can⊠I release you.

You have to meet people where they are, and sometimes you have to leave them there.
âThere are times when it will go so wrong that you will barely be alive, and times when you realise that being barely alive, on your own terms, is better than living a bloated half-life on someone elseâs terms.â

I remember when Carol came out and all the weird straights were like âits distantâ âits coldâ and here I am on my 400th viewing and it just gets warmer and more intimate every time I watch it.

Quokka
The quokka (Setonix brachyurus), the only member of the genus Setonix, is a small macropod about the size of a domestic cat. Like other marsupials in the macropod family (such as kangaroos and wallabies), the quokka is herbivorous and mainly nocturnal. In the wild, its roaming is restricted to a very small range in the South-West of Western Australia, with a number of small scattered populations. There is one large population on Rottnest Island and a smaller population on Bald Island near Albany. The quokka has little fear of humans and it is common for quokkas to approach people closely, particularly on Rottnest Island. It is, however, illegal for members of the public to handle the animals in any way, and feeding, particularly of âhuman foodâ, is especially discouraged as they can easily get sick.Â
