My Pretty General
Flame felt a panic begin to well up in the pit of his stomach as he felt the earth dragon's rough fingers run down his body. He felt his body, cooler than his own, press heavy against him, pinning him to the floor.
No. This wasn't right. He didn't want this. He wasn't a breeder. He didn't want this! He kept trying to get his voice to say it but it was trapped in his throat. Teo reached up to cup his face, stroking his lush red hair from his eyes.
"My pretty general..." He said in that beautiful deep voice that sent a shiver through him.
Flame felt his face blush at that. He wasn't sure what it was about this dragon that got him so flustered. His body felt like it was melting from the inside out and it made him squirm uncomfortably to get free.
"You smell delicious." Teo said with a chuckle, leaning close to his neck and taking in a deep breath. "Is it your first time, general?"
Flame pushed at his shoulders, eyes wide as he stated up at him in a half daze. The earth dragon grinned back at him, that wide smile that seemed to big for his face, and Flame felt those thick fingers of his rub against him, slicked by his own juices, and he gasped. When had he shifted? He didn't remember.
He reached a hand up to touch at his now long tresses that spilled across the floor and then back to the earth dragon who was watching him with those bright green eyes of his, eyes hungry like a predator as he took in his every move.
Something inside him wanted that so badly. Something in him stopped fighting as hard. Gods, he was handsome though.
He grabbed Teo by his braids and pulled his head back sharply, forcing the dragon back to his knees and giving himself enough space to sit up. The earth dragon still had that grin on his face, but there was something else there now, something dark and primal that had Flame shivering with want.
Those dark hands were back rubbing up his thighs in slow patterns. Flame leaned close, linking his arms around Teo's thick neck as he felt another wave of dizziness hit him. The earth dragon purred at his closeness, a deep rumbling purr that started deep in his belly, and he took another deep breath in at his scent.
"Yes, my pretty general." He heard him whisper as those fingers found their destination at last and had Flame trembling as they plunged inside him, spreading him wide and open as he added another. The fire dragon watched them disappear inside him, watched as they spread him open wide and spread his juices further down already wet fingers. He dug his claws into Teo's back and let out a small gasp as those fingers brushed over something that sent sparks down his body. "Yes, my general... So good for me... So pretty."
Flame felt the last bit of his resistance break at that. He didn't care about his reputation or keeping up appearances. He didn't care about the social restrictions placed on him by his position, he stopped thinking about his own grief. In that moment all he wanted was this earth dragon to throw him down and rut him hard.
He felt his mind begin to haze as his mating instincts took over. He pulled the earth dragon close, close enough that their lips touched, and still those fingers worked.
"Please... Make me forget..." He moaned, eyes searching his desperately for something he wasn't sure he could ask.
Teo growled in response and threw him to the ground. The last thing Flame recalled was the feeling of his virginity being ripped away as his thick cock pounded him hard and fast.

When Air met Earth
All heads whipped around at the scent, watching with interest as a large earth dragon stalked up quietly to the tavern owner and tapped a claw on the bar. The man gave a curt nod and disappeared out the back. A few of his friends grumbled something about old bags, and most of the dragons went back about their business, but Ahmed couldn't simply ignore the smell.
"Who is that?" He asked, eyes still watching the strange dragon who seemed to be trying to keep their mating scent close to avoid bothering the patrons.
"Not worth it." One of his friends snorted, waving his question aside.
"Wasted seed, that one." Another agreed, taking a gulp of his beer.
Ahmed wasn't so sure. He watched the dragon as they sat by the bar, almost curling in on themselves to keep the scent in. Like it knew it would be rejected. One hand clasped to their neck to keep it in check.
How lonely.
Ahmed picked up his beer and walked over.
"Can I get you some fruit?" He asked, ignoring the irritated clicks from his friends as he sat beside the hulking form of the earth dragon.
The dragon jumped slightly at their proximity, a fresh waft of scent filling the air wyvern's nostrils and making him yearn for more. It was different from other earth dragons, a rich spicy cinnamon and something else. Something like forest floor and rain.
"The barkeep is fetching some for me." They replied, voice deep and melodious. So unlike his own. "Thank you."
And before he could say more, the barkeep returned, a large sack in hand that he unloaded from his arms to place in the bar. His gem blue eyes looked curiously to Ahmed then back to the earth dragon as he heard the telltale clink of coins across the bar.
He nodded his gratitude and took the coin, moving off to serve another customer but not before tapping the bar in front of the wyvern.
"Don't hassle 'im, you hear me?" He said, voice low and dark as he walked off.
Ahmed waited for the man to leave before turning back to the earth dragon, who apparently had lost all interest in him now that food was available. Their large claws pulled the sack close, back to him as it prepared to turn and leave. He saw a clawed hand rummage inside the sack to emerge with a pomegranate that they began to munch on.
Ahmed puffed out his chest at that, a slight flush to his cheeks at the thought of being rebuffed for a piece of fruit.
He didn't like losing.
In fact, he had never had troubles getting mates before except this one. This one was different. And difficult.
He let his crest up, the feathers rustling as he pulled out his last resort. The earth dragon, who had finished the slow turn to leave, paused.
The pomegranate was dropped back into the sack as they turned to look at him with bright green eyes, eyes so bright and clear they looked near white.
"What a beautiful crest..." They said in a hushed voice, eyes mesmerised by the colourful display.
Their hands reached up towards the feathers but they seemed to catch themselves before it touched and those eyes looked back at his.
"I have to go."
The dragon pulled back and hurried out the door, tail whipping around like a second hand to shut the door behind them. Ahmed heard his friends roar with laughter and he gave a guttural hiss and stalked out the tavern after his prey.

Introductions
"This is my most trusted general. He’ll be sitting in at the meeting today.” the fire elder stated as the two dragons ambled into the large meeting hall. “General Blaze, allow me to introduce you to Elder Quetzalcoatl and his brother, Tlazolteotl.”
The young redhead gave a bow to the Elder Earth but barely spared a glance for the brother as he took his place behind his Elder. He heard Tlazolteotl murmur something to his brother and they both exchanged a grin before the large dragon curled himself into a seated position.
“Come on General. Care to test your strength?” Tlazolteotl curled his fingers, beckoning the fire dragon to step into their fighting pit where several other earth dragons sat panting in defeat with their heads hanging low.
“Alright.” Blaze said, pausing at the edge of the fighting pit. He had to admit he was itching to fight him ever since he had been introduced. Elder Quetzal may have had a lot of brothers, but none as famous as his little general. Blaze had never fought another solo before, and he couldn’t wait to show the man just how much better he was. “One on one?”
“Whatever you want, General.” the earth dragon's smile stretched impossibly wide across his face, flashing his blunt white teeth at him as he cracked his knuckles and flicked the sweat from his muscles. He gave a low rumble at the lingering dragons and they scrambled to get free of the ring as he stalked towards them, clearing the path for Blaze to enter.
“Better.” he grinned, squatting low into the battle stance of the earth dragons, his thick fingers drumming on his dark thighs as he waited. “Ready?”
Blaze took a deep breath and closed his eyes as he focussed on his internal arsenal. He wanted his spear for this one, give him no chance to get close and keep him on defence. He curled his right hand around his fist and felt the familiar tight feeling that he got when he pulled his weapons out.
He stepped back a step, readying himself and ignoring the strange look that crossed over Tlazolteotl's face.
“Ready.” He said, shifting into his battle stance, tail pressed hard into the ground as he prepared to strike first.
Blaze had heard many stories about earth dragons. He knew that they were famous for being bloody-thirsty, brutal berserkers that were notoriously unpredictable. Tlazolteotl lived up to that legend and then some. His movements were wild and strangely fluid. He would strike out with his tail and follow through somehow with a sweeping kick.
But Blaze was faster. He danced and weaved his way back to the edge of the pit, spear managing just barely to keep the earth dragon at bay. He felt the adrenalin pump through his body as he fought back, but his spear could barely scratch through his thick skin no matter how hard he thrust.
Without warning there came that tail, and before he could parry with his spear he felt his feet trip over a loose rock. Except it wasn’t a loose rock, it was a single rock ledge that had obviously been made by Tlazolteotl and he felt like an idiot to be caught by such a cheap trick.
He looked up in time to see the earth dragon above him, eyes flashing a wild green as he raised a meaty fist to smash into his chest. Blaze gave a grunt as he threw up his hands, his shield only just barely spreading out in time to absorb the majority of the blow. He felt the shock jolt up his arms and they buckled just enough to put the earth dragon off balance and that gave Blaze enough time to kick him away and leap to his feet.
He didn’t wait for him to recover and spat a fireball in his direction. He watched as the earth dragon’s eyes widened and he threw up a heavy rock shield to avoid getting scorched. He kept at him then, smashing at his shield again and again with his spear until he began to get frustrated.
“Use your weapon!” He shouted at him, spear smashing through his shield even as he made another and managed to stay on the defensive.
“I am!” he roared back, but Blaze could see him beginning to slip up and make more mistakes, mistakes that he was all too happy to punish with a sharp spear thrust and before long the bitter tang of blood permeated the air.
Blaze stood above Tlazolteotl with his spear pointed at his throat.
“You disappoint me.” he spat, narrowing his eyes. “I expected better from a solo, Tlazolteotl.”
Tlazolteotl stared up at him, eyes blazing with fury as his breath hissed through his teeth. “I’m not a solo.” he gritted out.
Blaze frowned as he let his weapon fizzle away. He watched as Tlazolteotl wiped at the blood on his neck and looked up at him, kneeling in front of him. With the scant clothing that the earth tribe wore it made his erection more than obvious. Blaze took a step back, turning his head away as he blushed and covered him from view with his hand.
“What are you...?! Stop being so indecent!” He stumbled over his words.
The earth dragons around them roared with laughter and he watched as Tlazolteotl's skin turned a brick red and he snarled at the other dragons, leaping to his feet and pounding on his chest.
“You have something to say to me? Then let’s see how long you all last against a solo!” He roared, tail thumping with enough force to crack the earth beneath him. The laughter died down enough after that but Blaze could see he had offended the dragon and he wasn’t entirely sure how.
“You’re not a solo?” He asked, watching the other man pace around the ring as he snapped at the other dragons. “What are you then?”
“A shield.” he spat at the ground and stalked off into the crowd, grabbing one of the younger earth dragons by the tail as he left.
“I heard you beat my brother in combat?” Quetzal said, one of his chameleon eyes turning his direction as they walked.
“He’s strong for just a shield.” he said after a pause, trying to ignore how uneasy being around the Earth Elder made him feel. “It was an unfair fight though. If he had access to a weapon-”
“You still would have won.” Quetzal smiled wider, his mouth gaping open as he looked at the young redhead. “I heard you turned him down? He was very disappointed. He’s rather smitten with you.”
“I just... I mean, I didn’t... What I mean to say...” he felt a familiar hot flush creep back up his neck. “What was I supposed to do?”
“It is customary for the victor in a fight to mate with the loser. It’s a show of dominance and strength. We earth dragons like that kind of thing.” Quetzal said with a chuckle. “It is alright, Blaze. He will get over it.”
Blaze watched as the Elder left with growing unease. He sat in his room for a long time until he left late at night, ready to mend some bridges.
“What are... you...?” Tlazolteotl’s eyes were bright, even in the dark of the night, as he watched the fire dragon with confusion.
“Claiming my prize.” Blaze said with all the confidence he didn’t feel. He must have said it convincingly enough though because the earth dragon shifted forward with an eager grin. “It’s custom, isn’t it?”
“It can be whatever you want, my pretty general.” Tlazolteotl said with a wicked smile as he pull him close. “And call me Teo.”

Meet the Twins
BB wasn’t normally a nervous kind of guy. There was never anything that he truly needed to worry about on the island and even less things that could actually hurt him. There was just something about Ren that made him jittery. Maybe it was the fact that he could one day just fly away and just leave him?
He shook his head to banish the stupid thought and checked his hair one last time in the mirror before clomping out of the bathroom. Ren was waiting out on the balcony like always, head tilted back as he looked up at the clouds in the sky with a distant look on his face that he was always loathe to interrupt.
“They won’t be here for another hour.” He said, watching as the man jumped at his voice and whirled to look over his shoulder at him. He gave a sheepish grin in return, resting a hand on his lower back with a pat. “Sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.”
“No it’s ok. I was... lost thinking.” The angel flashed him a smile, pearly white teeth poking out from behind his lips. “You fixed your hair?”
BB chuckled at that and ran a hand up to slick down his hair again. He hefted his big shoulders in a shrug. “Couldn’t help it. I don’t like when it curls.”
“I think it looks cute.” Ren said, his hand paused mid-air where he had raised it up to touch. It hovered there awkwardly for a moment before he quickly dropped it, a blush creeping up to his cheeks as he looked away and back over the water.
He still thought it was cute how shy Ren was. “I think you’re cute.” He grinned, leaning down to kiss him on the cheek and make him blush even more.
“Oh gross, bro!”
“Yeah! Totally gross.”
BB almost jumped out of his skin as he heard two familiar voices pop up from above him. Sure enough , the twins were there, perched up on the thatched roof of his bungalow with matching grins on their faces.
“You shitheads! You almost scared my skeleton from me!” BB snorted, reaching up to smack at Luke’s foot even as he tried to skitter out of range.
The twins cackled loudly at that, high fiving head other with a loud clap.
“Oi, you Ren? I’m Milo.” the dark bird leapt down from the roof to hold his hand out to the rather embarrassed looking angel. “In case you can’t tell, me and this whitey over here are brothers. Except I’m the pretty one.”
The twins looked almost identical to each other, aside from their colour. They always joked and said their mother selected ‘invert colour’ but forgot to undo it with one. Both were fairly muscular boys, with wide shoulders and thick, wiry arms. They wore their hair in matching moehawks, one a bright yellow with the other being a bright crimson. They both had large, pointed noses and small, dark beady eyes and smiles that seemed to take up more of their face than was possible.
The main difference was their skin. Luke’s was a pale cream, so pale it looked almost white in the sun, whereas Milo’s was a rich dark brown that was so close to black. He would play games with them at night and literally vanish if they weren’t paying attention.
“Bro.” Luke grinned, climbing up BB’s back and slapping him on the shoulders. “Bro. That was super mushy.”
“Yeah, totally mush. Like grandpa’s food.” Milo laughed and pointed at Luke and they both burst out laughing again.
“Ey, ey! Manners!” BB snorted again and swatted at them like they were annoying flies in his vision. “Ren, these are my idiot brothers, Luke and Milo. Milo’s the black one.”
“Hey!” he squawked from his perch on the balcony.
“That’s racist!” Luke flicked BB’s ear, a mock hurt look on his face.
“Shut it, ya tits.” He chuckled, rolling his eyes and trying to make Ren see they were only playing around.
“Hey how’s ya flying going, mate?” Luke asked, sliding from BB’s back to perch on Ren’s other side of the balcony with his arm wings out to keep his balance.
“Oh, it’s... hard.” the angel admitted, rubbing at his neck. “And my back kinda hurts.”
“Yeah, yeah. It’s normal.” Milo nodded sympathetically as he crossed his arms over his chest. “We get sore arms if we go real far. You got wings like eagles. You gotta flex ‘em, right?”
BB watched as the twins began chatting to Ren like he had always been part of their lives. They gave him tips on how to stretch after a long flight, albeit slightly amended for their different wing types, and spoke for long times about wind changes and how to spot the right air currents and what different clouds meant. It warmed his heart and he couldn’t remember why he had been nervous about them meeting him. He was such a natural it was like he was always meant to fit into his life.

Sacrifices
Loto cursed as another salvo hit nearby, the mud exploding across him in it’s last defiant act. He spat the grit from his mouth, crouched low and grabbed Leopold by the shoulder so he could yell in his ear.
“We have to move! This was a fucking trap!” He said above the gunfire, pulling the man close as he huddled behind the deep trench they had been forced to dig. He pointed a thick finger across from them to another trench, one that wasn’t attracting nearly as much fire and ran along a line of thick trees. “We need to get there!”
The dairy bull’s horns knocked against his own as he tried to see where he pointed and he stared at him with wide blue eyes.
“You’re insane! We’ll never make it!” he cried back, cringing as another mortar shell exploded closer than he would have liked.
“Just shut the fuck up and follow me!” He yelled at him, eyes hard as he shook the smaller man. “Follow my hooves. Follow close and fast.”
He didn’t wait for the man to freak out on him and turned his back, crouched low and leapt up from the trench and began to race as fast as his legs would carry him. He could feel the ground exploding around him and could barely hear anything above the loud cracks that sounded but he kept on running, eyes never leaving his target as he raced across the mud.
He slowed as he felt a bullet hit him in the shoulder and was pleased to see that Leopold was following him. The man had balls, he had to give him credit for that. He could see it in his eyes now. The determined look. The need to survive.
And that was when he heard him cry out and he dropped, face hitting the mud as he tumbled face first into it.
Loto paused, crouched low in the field with bullets closing in, and watched as the man reached out a hand even as he tried to keep crawling forward. Loto could see that he had been shot, the bullet seeming to have shorn clean through the meat of his calf. He wasn’t going to make it over.
He could see the image of Annabella’s face as she had looked at him before he had left, tears spilling from those beautiful eyes, and the desperate pledge she had made him swear. She told him to bring him home. He had promised.
He felt like the world had stopped and he was moving in slow motion.
He looked at Leopold’s outstretched hand and was reaching out to take hold of him when something stopped him. He stood still, breath heavy, blood pumping through his ears like a rush. He pulled his hand away.
He watched those clear blue eyes look up at him, wide with the knowledge of what was happening, even as he began to step away.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of Bella!” he yelled at him and began to run.
He didn’t even look back as he heard the man get shredded to pieces behind him though he felt something inside him harden and die, leaving a dark stain on his soul with the memory of what he had done.
