Based on my post about Warriors and Artemis who switched....Warriors is the first to leave the Chain

When they return to his Hyrule, its as if the War of Eras never happened. The Link in this universe is a trainee, yet he doesnt. Seem to be anything like their Warriors

When they meet princess Zelda, theyre met with Warriors' tired face.

Something somwthing the War of Eras was a reason for Warriors and Artemis to switch places, especially when they discovered they had opposite triforces, but now that Warriors' journey is over, them discovering the triforces never happened

They just naturally assume Warriors has the triforce of wisdom. Now he's back to being princess Zelda: the son of Hylia who's stuck on the throne

My favorite kind of Warriors au is the au where he wasnt supposed to be in Hyrule Warriors at all if it weren't for the portals...and actually belonged to one of the chain's hyrules...

More stuff I love: when Warriors has a more direct connection to the other Links...thoughts on Warriors actually belonging to Sky's Hyrule. Thoughts on Sky realizing that he didnt just feel a connection with Warriors because theyre both knights. Warriors has Sun's smile.

Thoughts on the reason for Warriors and the War of Eras not being referenced in any of the other Hyrules is because the War of Eras was set in a weird time conundrum bubble

The war's been going on for almost 6 years meanwhile the world kept spinning for around a month, unaware of the war thats going on right under their noses

Also why the war took so long that the others from different timelines had to jump in and help? Because Warrior's Hyrule couldnt even ask for help from other countries, no supplies no food no soldiers

But also the others returning to their timelines before the war ended...and after it did the time bubble was gone and Hyrule's citizens aged as if it were only a month instead of years. The casualties are still there, as well as ruined keeps and buildings, but theyve returned to before the time bubble happened

So when the chain arrives to Warrior's Hyrule and meets him, Time is so confused. They look to be recovering from a great war, yet Wars looks....younger than he should be. He thinks this is a Warriors before the War of Eras because he wasnt told the full story of how the war started

So its also a bunch of miscommunication...Warriors thinking Time doesnt want to talk to him but really Time just cant bear to talk to a "younger" version of his big brother like he would usually...

Ravio would TOTALLY fuck with legend and warriors like that 😭😭😭

Id like to imagine like its some inside joke with everyone who got married (and divorced.), and the jokes just multiply when the rest of the chain visit

"Really, Twilight, my ex-husband didn't even cry as much as you when we reunited."

Stuff like that...OH MY GOD TIME AND WIND...FOR A BRIEF MOMENT THEY HAD SO MANY PARENTS

Thoughts on Warriors being hesitant on talking about his not children companions from the War of Eras...

Because how do you tell your friends "oh yeah we all married so the council would acknowledge and credit them for their service up against the HALF OF THE GODDESS OF TIME and FUCKING GANONDORF that they refused to give because theyre not from this time"

So silly stuff like ravio and warriors looking at each other when the chain arrive at legend's hyrule and just. Oh man. Do we remember each other? Looks at Ravio's ring around his neck that he refuses to sell. Looks at Warrior's tan line on his ring finger. Oh yeah. We remember each other.

Also everyone divorced each other right after marriage ❤️ The tax benefits were huge for Warriors even if theyre not exactly from his hyrule

I have this fic I was supposed to write (one where the Zeldas meet/interact with Warriors) but I only got to write one chapter of one fic before I got out of Legend of Zelda...

Now im back but the sad thing is I cant remember the exact details of the plot...i know the premise, the twists and turns, but I dont remember the things that happen before and after them

Someone may have already pointed this out but there’s just so much potential between Warriors, Twilight, and Legend purely because Hyrule Warriors exists???

Think about it.

Twilight and Legend have both lost people they loved, with no way to ever see them again. Midna shattered the mirror to the Twilight Realm, and Marin ceased to exist.

And yet despite these facts, somehow Warriors' face just lights up with recognition when he hears about them. It stings. Just a bit.
