Okay, but if you think about it, S4 has provided us with a truly excellent starting point for fix-it fics. I'm actually kinda excited about the inevitable wave of fix-ts.

okay but like the Five/Lila thing makes sense, logically. It does. They're stuck together for years, they use each other for companionship and develop an unhealthy codependency, they just don't realize that it's that and not real love. Five especially would have no basis of comparison for what good, healthy love looks like, which is why Lila realizes it's survival and he doesn't.

With all of that being said, did the writers REALLY have to go there? The actor is literally a teenager, it was icky to watch. Gross. There were other options. Just because it makes sense doesn't mean it was the best choice.
