Okay but what is going with the rafe fans??

I only just now see lately fics off him manipulating reader or just being sexist, manipulating, humiliating, misogynistic and more.. And they like it ??? Like what?!?

Were are my rafe fans who just don't like such kind of fics (like me) ?

So for years black girls have had to read fanfics where y/n was automatically described as being paled skinned with long flowing hair and blue eyes. We couldn’t relate to it exactly, it excluded us, it ignored us. But we read it cause it was all that was out there. Now when we start writing fanfics for other black girls to feel included and represented, now you all are saying that you ‘‘can’t relate to it” therefore don’t support black writers when we were supporting your work all those years even though you were acting like we don’t exist within these fandoms.

Idk bruh this is probably so unhinged and uncalled for but some of these fanfics have me recoiling in shame. like i love drew/rafe too. probably even more than the next person but it gets to a point dude😭 i just imagine him actually reading how down bad you are and feeling grossed out. (i’m talking about all those step brother and cnc stuff i see on my feed) sigh more people should write regular stuff so i don’t get the bottom scraps of fanfics on my feed.

He knew this was silly. I mean what was he doing at a university campus?

Drew tugged at his baseball hat lower over his eyes as he walked across the quad, trying not to look like some guy with absolutely no business being there. He’d already told himself he was just there to “visit a friend in the MBA program.” Except there was no friend. That was the line he’d practiced in his head about twenty times, just in case he saw her and needed an excuse in order to not sound like an absolute weird stalker.

The truth was way more pathetic.

He should’ve left Boston a week ago. His schedule was clear, his flights were booked, but something (or someone) had made him stay a little longer. The coffee girl. The one with the pretty curls and striking eyes and energy that caught him off guard. She’d been stuck in his head ever since then, and he hated that he didn’t even know her name.

Drew had thought about asking his uncle- just casually if he could find a certain girl and pass a message but he dismissed that. That would’ve been ridiculous. His uncle would’ve made it a whole thing and soon his entirely family would know he had some random crush on a student. Maybe if this method didn’t work he could try that, but for now he was going to try finding her.

So there he was, trying his luck on a random Thursday afternoon, hoping the universe would cut him some slack and let him run into her again.

As he crossed the quad, he tried not to look too obvious, his eyes darted over every face he passed. Soon after, his “disguise�� proved useless when a group of girls approached him in recognition and he decided to take photos and talk to his fans like they wanted. He always appreciated his supporters and made time for them but right now? he really just wanted to find her. For a moment he felt dumb- what were the chances he’d actually find her? This wasn’t a movie where things just magically worked out.

And then he saw her.

She was standing there frozen already looking at him. She looked so pretty and comfortable in her sweatshirt and pants, her hair catching the sunlight in a way that made his heart beat faster and his palms sweaty and before he could stop himself, his feet were already walking to her.

Drew tried to act as casual as possible. Like he wasn’t there just for her.

“Wait, is that you?” he called out like he hadn’t been imagining this moment for weeks.

She blinked and for a second, he thought she might turn around and walk the other way. But then her lips parted and he saw the same recognition, the same curiosity.

“Yeah it’s me”, she said, and just like that, the universe didn’t seem so random anymore.**
