and that’s perfectly fair!!! i shouldn’t have put it that way because it comes off as mean/not understanding.

what i meant to say, is that i guess some people assume that in order to appreciate a fantasy world building, you need to understand everything straight away, when the entire point of the story is to slowly let you inside their world, so that you understand the big picture at the end (or at least not straight away). and that not understand WHY (yet) doesn’t mean you don’t get the plot. that’s why it’s frustrating to hear people say it’s bad writing since they don’t understand it right away... it’s the point.

i’m sorry for the way i phrased that tho, it’s dismissive & unkind!!!!

Doom At Your Service (DAYS) does a great job of showing how fickle humanity can be, and how fleeting life is.

The actress that plays Tak Dongkyung does an amazing job (to me) in conveying the hopelessness, and anger, and fear that we all feel living this life. 

It’s interesting to me how she went from saying she’ll love Doom 

…to then being angry with him to the point of wishing him dead.

But then!

When Doom is about to be stabbed, even though they were bickering literally seconds before, she tries to protect him, without hesitation,  by covering his body with hers.

I’m curious to see how the contract she’s made with him will be resolved, and what they two feisty beings learn along the way.

also this is just my personal opinion but if your biggest criticism is that the second leads’ relationships are more interesting you lack taste 💀 not saying that they’re uninteresting or bad, i’m waiting to see what happens too, but at this point in the story they’re setting it up for a “basic” love triangle...

you’re telling me you prefer that over “love me to the point you want to destroy the world for me”? to them literally loving each other to death intentionally?
