The series looks like everything always comes down to Mikey but I believe it’s only a part of the truth. Kazutora is the crucial element of domino that ends up influencing most of the characters one way or another, mostly in an indirect manner.

For those of you who read Letter from Keisuke Baji;

-Ryusei is simping to Chifuyu

-Chifuyu is simping to Baji

-Baji is simping to Tora

And Tora? Idk having time of his life with his unmedicated, untreated BPD mixed with symptoms of schizophrenia and vivid paranoia (I genuinely believe he is barely aware of what he’d doing half of the time and we see him being absolutely clueless, delusional to the point of absurd).

Since Kojiro has a thing with Ryusei, keeping it neutral since their relationship is difficult to decipher I think Tora should start simping over to Kojiro to close the circle.

Koko’s backstory is really heartbreaking and all, but you know what is even more painful?

Watching how much he can’t move on, despite Seishu doing so. Seeing how he has a trauma response all over and over again, because in his mind getting more money is still the matter of life or death. The aftermath being his problematic relationship with Seishu, cause he still can’t figure out his feelings, since his friend reminds him of Akane. Him being so stuck in the past for years, fighting the guilt, unable to let it go and live in the present.

Why no one mentions the fact that sweet angelic Akane is literally a groomer? She was well aware of a crush that Koko had on her, yet she still complimented him and gave him hope. Koko was about 10/11 when she was 15/16. The quote about her waiting for him so someday they would get married? Disturbing as hell.

Chuuya is just purely used, abandoned and severely hurt towards the whole series and despite Dazai trusting little chibbiko with his life he seems to never respect him as a person.

Also, Dazai literally mocks Chuuya’s loyalty calling him a dog, because Chuuya would never leave him but apparently Dazai has no problem with doing so.

Ah just don’t get me started or I will write a 5 hundred words rant on how toxic this relationship is.
