The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

if you ever find yourself thinking “wow I scraped the bottom of the barrel with my energy with that and came out okay!” that’s the devil talking. you did not come out okay. you borrowed energy from the future. you will repay it if you don’t rest and replenish the borrowed energy first.

Well I finally got a rollator. Still having mixed feelings about it but it has been a godsend during this flare. I can actually still cook for myself and do some chores.

Got notified that my 10 year highschool reunion is coming up so I was feeling nostalgic and came back to this blog. Looking back at old reblogs makes me realize all the stuff I’ve discovered about myself the last couple years has really been there all along.

pro tip about relationships, you can call them all sorts of cheesy shit and they have to sit there cause they love u. i call my bf “lover”. if i ask him “whos the cutest boy in the whole world?” he has to stand there whole six feet of grown ass man with a news anchor voice and say “i am”.

it doesn’t matter if they “tried their best”, they “meant well”, or they’re “better now”- you don’t have to be okay with what they did! you don’t have to be okay at all! you don’t have to forgive them! you’re allowed to be traumatized, or angry, or hurt, no matter what has changed, no matter how much time has passed. please let yourself feel! acknowledge it was wrong because it was wrong! You didn’t deserve it- you really didn’t, no matter what! i swear to god, no matter what, you deserve to heal.
