Unpopular Opinion:
If you don’t actually have to manage your energy due to a physical or mental illness, you don’t get to use the spoon theory. It was created as a metaphor for the fatigue of lupus, and is a part of chronic illness, “spoonie”, culture.
Stop appropriating our language and go find your own words for your exhaustion.
