seeing her spiral/struggle with addiction truly breaks my heart because i know she deserves better and that she can get better

i wish she would've stayed in 13 for a little bit longer even though she was homesick because they could've helped with her addiction and i do feel like she and cressida might've been friends

i know she missed district 7 with her whole heart and that also breaks my heart because it shows that she does care about something and when we lost blight, that was sort of the last straw because no one saw finnick not making it out yk?

things could've gone so much better for her and in every fanfic that i write, i will make that the reality.

i'm thoroughly convinced that no one will ever understand how much i give a damn about johanna.

every time she appears on screen i literally scream not only because she's fine as shit but because that is the face of a fallen angel.

like wdym johanna mason was promised a peaceful life then reaped again because she was the only living female victor?? wdym johanna mason lost herself in the capitol and developed a fear of water so strong she can't even bathe?? wdym johanna mason lost so much of herself that she turned to morphling to ease the pain??

yes, everything is valid but the mere fact that we can slowly see her lose herself is gut wrenching and heart breaking and i fear that no one will ever understand the way i feel about her nor will i ever be able to properly explain my feelings.

she is such a complex character and person that i have to read and reread every scene she was in and watch and rewatch every scene she was in because i need to figure out exactly at what point did she feel like life was shit enough to turn to drugs.

i literally can't articulate my thoughts well enough to explain exactly why i care so much and why she will forever be my favorite character but here i am, giving it a go, because though i hardly have my thoughts together i do still have thoughts with enough meaning for me to need to get them out.

I really adore the moment in Catching Fire where Katniss and Finnick prank Peeta while he's sleeping. Not only because it's a moment of Katniss being goofy and pranking her crush like the kid she forgets she is but because Finnick is twenty four and acting like the kid he never got to be.
