hey lovely author! I was doing a reread of your amazing book abowab and I was totally absorbed, it was awesome as usual. I'm kinda desperate for details so I'd like to ask if you have any headcanons for what happens after the end of the book? I'd love to hear headcanons about abowab in general or even twilight, if you have them. ♡ ♡ ‧₊˚ ⋅

Hiiiiii! :) Thank you so much for reading my fic! As for what happens afterwards…

(I did originally have a sequel planned out, with the main focus being on Isabella and Rosalie, plus the Volturi. But in the last few years, I’ve scrapped and rewrittened the first chapter like three or four times. I think it’s a lost cause now 🤣)

So for now, enjoy these headcanons:

Edward preps to do med school again, as a favor for Carlisle, while the family is isolated during Isabella’s newborn period.

Isabella finally gets to join in on the family games! i.e. vampire baseball, vampire football, vampire paintball, capture the flag, etc.

To add to that, Isabella, Emmett, and Jasper put together new, as well as previously mentioned, absurd rec games, including, but not limited to, vampire foosball, slip-n-slide hockey, hungry hungry vampires, blind-net volleyball, etc.

It is very important to keep things somewhat entertaining! Carlisle is currently the only member of the family with a day job, and makes the daily commute out to Calgary, while the others mostly stay home, and we can’t have the rest of the vampire family going stir crazy. So, outside of hobbies and raising the little vampire hybrids, family game night is a big deal and crazy competitive.

Also, the games are MUCH more fun when the Denali Coven visits! The more the merrier!

And speaking of the Denali Coven, Irina learns about hybrids, and remains safe and sound and happy forever <3

Leah is a semi-regular visitor, utilizing the Cullen’s funds to travel back and forth as she pleases, because they’re rich as hell and Isabella is still her monster bestie <3

With the exception of Leah, the twins are not allowed to meet any of the other wolves, because the possibility of imprinting is still a hazard Isabella plans to prevent for as long as possible, as she should.

Rosalie is living her best aunt/mom life, but truthfully, it’s Lillianne who gives her the most trouble. That little girl is gifted with auditory compulsion (or, the power of suggestion.) Turns out, it’s much more difficult to dish out a reprimand, when said child tries to mind control you out of getting into trouble :(

This is where Isabella comes in. Fortunately, the mind control does not work against a mind shield!

By himself, Vivianno is the least problematic child in the world. Unfortunately, he is not by himself, and easily becomes accomplice to his sister more often than not.

And until the Volturi step in, due to circumstances that impact the entire vampire population, the Cullens are together, safe, and relatively happy <3

hi! I absolutely love your fanfictions! I only used to read the twilight ones but not long ago I read In the Gentle Grip of Nightfall despite not being too familiar star wars and it was so good!

And that’s so crazy, thanks for giving my Star Wars fic a try lol. And yes, I 100% have plans to continue it. I just have to be in the Star Wars mood to write for Star Wars, because so much goes into it. Tbh I’m probably not qualified to be writing fic for it, but when I couldn’t find many SI in that fandom, I of course had to write my own.

So, I can’t say when exactly I’ll pick it back up, but I’m crossing my fingers for sometime later this year :)

In summary, this

i think Bella falling pregnant with Renesmee was a narrative on abstinence-until-marriage.

though, whilst it was during her and Edward's honeymoon, within vampirism i see transfiguration is often something akin to a marriage. so, whilst on a legality they were married but, on a more personal level, i don't think they were married. and a common theme within vampirism is feminine sexuality being a cardinal sin due to religious subtext, be it intentional or unintentional, because of course the world will fall into hellfire if a girl experiences sexual pleasure. and, taking Stephanie Meyer's mormanism into consideration, i don't think it's a far-fetched concept.

we all know Bella was eager and, dare i say desperate to sleep with Edward as a human, and, she only married him because it was part of his agreement; i'm certain she would've been content to not marry him until a little later into their relationship. but, again, with vampire transfiguration being a symbolic marriage/communion and, with that considered, their "marriage" being a display for everyone else and, perhaps, a last attempt to cling onto humanity for Edward, of course Bella would fall pregnant. of course she'd nearly die in the process of giving birth to Renesmee, because she just couldn't wait. and not to mention the pro-life air surrounding her pregnancy just makes it so much more........ hm.

What are your thoughts on jacob x edward? I ask because reading your fics reminded me of an amazing comic series with that ship and was wondering if you'd be interested.

I’ve never read Edward/Jacob. My main ship is Edward/Bella, although I rarely read/write fic for that either because I already enjoy canon so much lol. I’m definitely in the minority in that, but Twilight is such a comfort read for me that no fic really tops it.

But it’s really cool that someone is drawing a comic! Not something I often see within this fandom.
