with my limited English and Google I'll try to explain one of my favorite festivals

Did you know that in the middle of Amazonas (state of Brazil), on the island of parintins , there is a HUGE festival!!! called "boi-bumbá". which is a three-day competition between two teams or, to be more specific, TWO OXES! "Garantido" the white ox with a heart on his forehead ox (represented by the color red) and "Caprichoso" being the black ox with a star on his forehead (represented by the color blue) . During these three nights, stories of the indigenous people (idk how to say in english, here we say "indígena" so the translator says this one) are told through songs, allegories, and dances. At the end of the third day, the scores are given, and it is decided which ox is the winner of the year.

Fun fact, the rivalry between the two oxen is so serious that the island is "divided" between the two colors, People don't refer to the opposite ox by its name but rather as "contrary", the stadium is divided between the two colors and the opposite color cannot be there (from clothing colors TO the sharpening of electronic devices), and to finish with the golden key, Some brands was to change the color of their packaging to the color of each ox, because the ox of the opposite color doesn't buy it (for example, Coca-Cola because it is red, the color of the "Garantido", Caprichoso fans prefer to buy Pepsi if it doesn't have the color of your ox)
