It’s a real shame that I missed the birthday of the genius Swiss artist H R Giger yesterday. He inspires generations of artists to this very day with his visions. So I just quickly wanted to make a post in the midst of the work we are doing right now moving and refurbishing our new home. Please forgive my absence, we have our hands full. Are you afraid of the water? “Ambush” Graphite, acrylics, airbrush, inks on vellum. First piece finished in 2023, this promises to be a really busy year indeed. Apologies for being so quiet these past weeks but I’m really busy with preparing the Creatures & Pictures book campaign (which is coming very soon probably mid Nov) and I just wanted to pull away from social media and just keep my head down and do the work. Finally the repaint of this Coolprops Predator 2 creature is done. It was quite the challenge to replicate the original paintjob from the movie, and there were some really hard areas that were not accessible (Khm like the mouth for instance), but I tried my best.
