Team tuna(unmarried women) and Team meipui(married women), an amazing football match was played in Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. I was amazed to attend Charauang, the people of Rongmei living in Delhi and NCR, come together to meet and greet. Everyone was fill with joy, and the spirit was high. Though less in number, bonding within them are strong as of atom molecule. Charuangc, which in Ruanglat (language of the Rongmei people) means “social gathering for a cause,” was started in 2012 to provide a platform for the Rongmei people to come together, meet, interact, know each other and build unity and community spirit. Walking on the historic Bazaar of Chandni Chowk , I saw a hard working labour, crowded street with e- three wheeler vehicles, cows- sacred animals of Hindu, beggars, shops and shoppers match with the needs of the buyers. The market's history dates to the founding of the capital city of Shahjahanabad when Emperor Shah Jahan established the Red Forton the banks of the Yamuna River beside his new capital. Chandni Chowk, or the Moonlight Square, was designed and established by Princess Jahanara Begum, Shah Jahan’s favourite daughter, in 1650 CE. Originally containing 1,560 shops, the bazaar was 40 yards wide by 1,520 yards long.The bazaar was shaped as a square was given elegance by the presence of a pool in the centre of the complex. The pool shimmered in the moonlight, a feature which was perhaps responsible for its name.Shops were originally built in a half-moon shaped pattern, now lost. The bazaar was famous for its silver merchants, which also have contributed to the name of "Silver Street"as silver is referred to as Chandi in Hindi, a slight variation of which forms Chandni. The pool in the chowk was replaced by a clock tower (Ghantaghar) until the 1950s. Lamb__ Lamb of God is a title for Jesus that appears in the Gospel of John. It appears at John 1:29, where John the Baptist sees Jesus and exclaims, "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." A lion-like lamb that rises to deliver victory after being slain appears several times in the Book of Revelation. It is also referred to in Pauline writings, 1 Corinthians 5:7 suggests that Saint Paul intends to refer to the death of Jesus, who is the Paschal Lamb, using the theme found in Johannine writings.The lamb metaphor is also in line with Psalm 23, which depicts God as a shepherd leading his flock (mankind). India Gate is a memorial to 70,000 soldiers of the British Indian Army who died in the period 1914–21 in the First World War, in France, Flanders, Mesopotamia, Persia, East Africa, Gallipoli and elsewhere in the Near and the Far East, and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. 13,300 servicemen's names, including some soldiers and officers from the United Kingdom, are inscribed on the gate.The India Gate, even though a war memorial, evokes the architectural style of the triumphal arch like the Arch of Constantine, outside the Colosseum in Rome, and is often compared to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and the Gateway of India in Mumbai.
