“ How rare for you to be in the area, Hatter. ” Gray was sure he probably came with Alice, for the time being. I wonder why Lord Nightmare told me to go fetch her. The town was a free roam for all anyway. I wonder if something is going on. . . He never leaves his domain.

Assemblies were always busy. Gray was on the lookout, as usual,  to resolve any ‘ physical ’ disputes. Lord Nightmare is about to give his speech. And now, he had to tell everyone that the meeting was about to begin. He made haste.

“ The meeting is about to start. It’s best to go now to choose your desired seat. ”

Ah. So he had been spotted. Just what he had been waiting for. Gray lifted his head, as it would be rude to not show any etiquette in foreign territory. “ I’ve been wanting to ask your boss something. Something about what I’ve heard recently. But, I’m sure you two could probably tell me in his place. ” He wanted information about this ‘ spy ’, and if it would raise any concern. He was given a task, a very vague one. And, he’d prefer to not have to go back to the headquarters in order to receive information. 

Δ   Dumpty nudged his twin as they sat lounging on the building roof. Faceless below actively avoiding looking up and even taking alternate routes to steer clear of their line of sight once the two mad gatekeepers were spotted.

Ⱶ   “I see, I see.” Humpty return to the prompting before raising his voice, causing even more faceless to scuttle about. “We don’t get too many reptiles wandering about here. What can we do for you, lizard~?”

Something stirred inside. Now, roleholders of course didn’t have ‘ hearts ’ like Alice did. But, he felt that his ‘ feelings ’ were swelling due to the adorable look on her face. “ I’m sure, Alice. ”  Knowing that he was the cause of her reaction, only urge him to want to keep her here at the Tower.

He knew if anything were to go wrong though, he could rely on Nightmare to relay the message. He’d go rescue her and slice up the ‘ evil doers ’ in the process. Now that Alice was going to be gone, unsure for how many periods, he would go take a smoke. After all, he had always been a worrywart on top of trying to manage the workload.

The door had shut now, indicating that he better go back to what he was doing. Gray turned around to visit Nightmare once more. Just a little more work to finish up, then I’ll be free when she comes back. Undeniably, his thoughts were filled with her.

It was an automatic reaction. When ever Gray smiled her cheeks turned a light red. Her hand rested against her own chest in a gentle reaction of slight shock. That smile, it was her favorite smile of his. She recognized it as a smile that he only gave to Alice herself. It looked so full of love and adoration. His eyes were warm and gentle. She shivered a bit, throwing a similar smile at him. 

       “I’ll be back in time for the Assembly….” She opened the door but hesitated. If Gray was busy then she shouldn’t stay to bother him right? She pursed her lips a bit. She could still feel him behind her. “You came to see me off?” She bit her bottom lip in thought. 

Gray was so..nice and pretty. It seemed everyone was quite pretty to look at. But when she had moved to the Country of Clover Gray had startled her the slightest bit. His eyes were always the favorite part of his visual features. They got along quite well from the start. Thank you Nightmare. Gray was a nice part of Wonderland, he was nice and sweet. 

Alice was the complete opposite, being so used to the other role holders she always threw her anger on Gray. She hated herself. Gray was always so sweet to her and she was being so mean to him. But she doesn’t remember Gray ever snapping back at her. Never complaining about her being rude. 

Alice smiled softly at the few memories. Looking over her shoulder at him again. “Are you sure you dont need anything Gray?” She will get him something anyway, just for him. She placed a hand on her own cheek, hoping the blush had died down by now. She was quite annoyed that a simple smile from him had her blushing like a school girl. 

The blonde looked up at him as she shut the door. It was cold outside, too cold to simply leave the door open while talking to him, and adding in Nightmare, it was too cold… Maybe she will make something for them.

“ Nothing at all, Alice. ” Ah, she’s as thoughtful as ever. A light chuckle escaped his lips. “ Yes. He does his part of the work when you least expect it. ” Personally, if he could, he would rather fetch what she needed instead of having her to go out of her way. Gray figured things would be fine for her though. He just worried from time to time, especially knowing the fact that the Hatter enjoyed roaming around in town. “ I just came to see you off. ” I’m unfortunately stuck here with busywork. Displaying his soften smile that no other was exposed to.

Alice turned around as she heard foot steps. “Gray! I was just heading out do you need anything?” She grinned widely as she leaned forward to him a bit. “Did Nightmare finish a good amount of work is that why you are here?”

“ I’m surprised the rabbit is not with you, your Majesty. Shall I fetch you anything in his place ? ” I wonder where he’s run off to -- I wouldn’t dare to leave Lord Nightmare’s side unless there’s a task. Although, he runs from me. All. The. Time.

I know I was supposed to go here. . . He was certain that he probably looked suspicious as hell -- but better out in the open than sneaking around. Gray knew better than that. He knew that territories were often a serious thing. But, more importantly, it surely was more dangerous now that the rumor about a lurking ‘ spy ’ was in everyone’s midst.

To shut it off:

Click the ‘person’ icon in the top right

Select ‘Settings’

Select your blog from the column on the right

Scroll down to the ‘Advertising’ section

Shut that shit off.

You have to do it for all blogs individually, including side blogs.
