Patio De Los Leones!! Fun facts: 1. There are 12 lions holding up the fountain. 2. Each lion is unique. They all look different. 3. There is poetry written on the bowl of the fountain by Ibn Zamrak.

A little kitten eyeing the fish in the pond at La Alhambra. The kitten later resorted to drinking the water out of the little gutter.

La Alhambra! Another place we spoke about in art history! I was stunned by the absolute beauty of the palace and how well it has been preserved.

Mosque of Cordoba that was turned into the Cathedral of Cordoba. It was very exciting to have talked about this mosque in art history and then see it for real a few weeks later.

My family came to town! We walked over to Puente Romano and checked out the views of the cathedral and the bridge. It was fun to explore the city with them in a different way than I have before.

The actual views of the Alcazar! We climbed something like 151 stairs all the way to the top of the tower. It was pretty fun to just relax at the top with friends. The stairs were sooooo narrow and pretty hard to pass people on which was pretty scary at times. The whole trip was pretty fun and nice to see another nearby town.

Took a quick day trip to Segovia! There wasn't too much to do but the aqueduct was pretty cool. It was my first train trip so that was an interesting experience. The Segovia train station is kind of in the middle of nowhere so you have to take a bus or a taxi to get to the actual town.
