If he had done something wrong, he was willing to fix it. Always would. But at the moment, he was lost on what he had done wrong. All he did was play around with the mistletoe with her and when that didn’t work, he had simply asked why she gave it. Should he be apologising for not understanding her gift? If it meant it would fix things between them, then he could try. “Do you want me to say I’m sorry?” he asked. “Because I’m sorry I didn’t understand your gift, I’m sorry I complained about it, I’m sorry you couldn’t talk to me, I’m sorry I didn’t notice you sooner and I’m sorry I got you mad.” he said apologising for everything she brought up. “Is that what you want to hear? Either way, I mean it. I’m sorry.” even if he had misunderstood the situation, anyone could’ve made the same mistake. What else was he really suppose to do with that kind of gift? “Didn’t we already establish that I don’t want to be with anyone else? That you deserve me just as much as i deserve you. Don’t ever think you don’t deserve me and that I’m disappointed with the girl in the mask.” he told her. “I loved the girl I knew. Whether it was Marinette or Ladybug. Mask or no. Neither girl could disappoint me.” Well there was a few weeks ago when she let her father get between them, but they had sorted that out and he wasn’t completely disappointed with her, more with his father, really? “You’re perfect as you are. I can handle you being mad. It takes a whole lot more to get rid of me. It would help if I understood exactly why you are mad. I get you’re mad at me, but why exactly?” he tilted his head.

Hearing she wasn’t feeling a hundred percent, Cat Noir wanted their battle to end as soon as possible. If she was sick, he wasn’t letting her get hurt any further. The sooner this job was done, the sooner they could go home and she could rest. But despite being sick, he could see there was something about her right now. But he couldn’t figure out what. “Maybe it’s in my head.” he shook his head, standing beside her. “I think the akuma is hidden in his wristband.” he pointed out, seeing as most of his attacks came from there and there weren’t many other items present on the villain. “Think you’re up for it?” he asked, worried about her.

  She had no idea why things were feeling this tense or why it felt like things angered her easily. It felt so wrong to be getting upset over the gift she gave him but right now she was feeling on the edge. Her partner was always one to joke and she’d be okay to joke along with him but right now it didn’t seem the case. Maybe it was the lack of sleep as of late or that she hadn’t been feeling well the last few days. Ladybug shook her head. ❛No. Don’t. You have nothing to be sorry for. It’s me. I should be for making things difficult for you. Just forget about it. I guess I’m just...feeling off somehow and taking it out on you. I’m so sorry kitty. ❛ She had tried to clear things with him, hoping to make amends for causing unnecessary trouble between them especially since they had just gotten back together from that break-up because of his father’s meddling. ❛ I know. We deserve each other. Right. I got it. I love you and only you. It’s...I’m just...haven’t been feeling myself as of late. ❛ She admitted, finally genuinely smiling at him for what he said on her. ❛ I’m not sure what I’m feeling but just know I’m not mad at you, okay? ❛ 

   Ladybug was still feeling the aftereffects of that hit the akuma gave her making her somewhat really sick. She knew something was up but this awful feeling just got ten times worst as a headache developed as well as a nauseated feeling. However, her job as Ladybug wasn’t done since an akuma needed to be purified by her power. ❛ I don’t think...so. I maybe caught something. I don’t know. Then let’s target that wristband. I’m ready when you are. I don’t think we have a choice whether I’m up for it or not. We have to get that akuma and get everything back to normal. It’s our job. Let’s do this. You get that wristband and I’ll be ready to use my power like usual. Now go. Hurry.❛

{🐱} ❝ Y-yeah, this is my first time every baking anything so—it’s only natural to make a few mistakes I guess. ❞ The model nodded, feeling a little better with Marinette’s assurance. Truth be told, Adrien didn’t felt super comfortable with taking Tom’s and Sabine’s request from the start. He had ZERO skills and he knew Marinette was better off without him, but—things were starting to change for the BETTER. Placing the bowl inside the oven, Adrien inched his hand closer to the ‘ON’ handle. About to turn the oven on—that was—before his partners QUICK actions startled him. Promptly after noticing the HUGE mistake he nearly caused. 

❝ —See? I can’t even follow simple instructions. I’m so sorry. I’ll just…stay out of your way. ❞ Adrien sighed, averting his eyes as he slowly backed away from the kitchen. He couldn’t believe he ALMOST exploded the Dupain Cheng’s bakery! Let alone their house. It was probably better off just sitting this one out.

   She gave him an encouraging smile, remaining positive about the outcome of this baking project given by her parents. ❛ Don’t worry about it, Adrien. I told you it will all turn out okay. You will see. Baking could be fun if you can see it that way but like anything it has its set of instructions for reasons so the baked item is editable. ❛ Marinette didn’t know if her words were any help to him, especially that he accidentally almost baked the bowl inside the oven. Everything with baking is learning and it can only get better, not worse. It wasn’t her intention to startle him but he needed to know what went wrong so he can learn from it. That goes for anything in life.

  ❛ Adrien, it’s fine, really. You just move on from this mishap and try again. You didn’t know and besides it was my fault for not making the instructions clear to you. This is not your fault, okay? ❛ She stopped him from leaving seeing him feel awful about the entire thing and placed both of her hands on his shoulders to reassure him like he usually does to her when all wasn’t well. ❛ Look. I can’t do this without you. There’s a lot to do. These two batches of dough we made still need to be placed in the oven and then we need to prepare two more bowls to make a grand total for four batches. I can show you how if you want. Then just follow my lead on the first batch but only if you want to. I’m not forcing you to stay and do this but my parents did want for us to complete this together. I hope you understand. I’m sorry for the inconvenience of being roped into this.❛
