A while ago I was daydreaming and got reminded of a small monologue a character said to another character. This was already written down a while ago, but since it's a bit heartwarming I thought it would be nice to share it with others. Who knows, maybe this monologue might comfort others who need it.

"We will build a heaven just for you. A place filled with the warm glow of the sunset and the songs of birds. With soft moss and clovers beneath your feet, and with water lilies and lotuses within each body of water. The wind will carry the petals of cherry blossoms, and valleys of lilies and orchids will fill acres. All just for you.
You will be bathed in the golden glow of the sunlight, no longer to be in the shadows of others. You will shine. You will glow. And you will feel as warm as the warmth your soul gave to others, and as warm as the love your soul holds.
This heaven will be sweet, like nature's golden nectar. And it will be filled with all things sweet: honey, chocolate, flowers,
...
And you.
You will bear a crown of flowers, no longer a crown of the heavy golden metal that binds you to the burdens you carry for this world. You will no longer wear the heavy metal that you needed to protect you, as you are already safe here. The crown you adorn here will be made of flowers, of new life
...
And of new freedom.
There, you will be loved, as you have been loved, here, and now."
