Today I wrote down enough random book ideas that, when fleshed out, could probably last me a year or two.
I likely already have more ideas than I can write in my lifetime. The question is which ones are the gems and which ones will I be excited enough about when its turn comes up.
It reminds me of the time Brandon Sanderson talked about mapping out all the books he'll realistically be able to write and lamenting the ones he won't.
I think about that sometimes.

Some writers have TV playing in the background while they write.
Some writers require a strictly silent room, and there is everything in-between.
I prefer wordless music, like soundtracks. Anything more than that, or anything with words, will endlessly distract me.
