People interpret Clint’s character in bad faith constantly and I’m sick of it. Yeah he’s off-putting !! He’s kind of weird !! He’s not a sicko though he’s a socially awkward introvert who doesn’t know how to socialize or connect to the people around him. People are so cruel to him :( he just needs a friend. It feels like anyone who isn’t 100% unproblematic or doesn’t have issues people can romanticize or use as angst fodder (re: Shane) are just dismissed as a bad person. Clint’s not a creep you guys are just mean. It sucks that only some character flaws are deemed acceptable in this fandom and if they aren’t palatable then the character is thrown in the ‘irredeemable asshole’ bin
