Welcome to I share my all time favorite headcanon with the class cause I've been having a shitty past couple of days.

This headcanon? Well it's about a cat named Boots.

Long story short, Dream finds a cat while heading out to get to work on building the vault for the staged finale. He doesn't mean too, it just kinda happens when he comes across and abandoned village - there's not much in terms of loot but there is a cat. A single little cat who INSTANTLY attaches himself to Dream, he's not skittish, he doesn't run, no he simply decides "You're my human now!!!!!" and well Dream unfortunately can't get out of it. Dream inevitably becomes attached to the little guy as well even if it goes directly against his whole act that he's committing to in a few weeks with the staged finale.

After the staged finale the cat, now named Boots is entrusted to Punz and he settles in well enough amongst the other animals in the mercenary's home. He trails after Punz a LOT, turning out to be quite the social little critter and the #1 beekeeper assistant (even if he has a habit of licking the bee hives here and there)

It takes awhile till Boots and Dream are reunited post-prison break, Punz having to wait quiet awhile for things to settle on the server before bringing Boots to the prison. Dream partly worries that the little cat will run from his now mangled and disheveled appearance when he first sees him, but Boots does quite the opposite - he practically launches from Punz's arms and bolts for his original owner. The little guy loudly meowing and pawing at the hybrid till he's picked up, then the purring starts and it certainly doesn't stop. While Boots certainly doesn't understand what's happened, he does understand that his owner needs comfort so that's what he pretty much commits too - hopping up and purring against Dream whenever possible to help him heal and to ease the pain. It certainly at least helps Dream feel a little less lonely through it all, that's for sure.

Appearance wise, Boots is a very thin and gangly thing even after being well fed. He's a simple Siamese named for his exceptionally dark back paws/legs that don't quite match up with his front ones - he looks like he wears, well, Boots! His eyes seem a bit too big and are that classic shade of icy blue, all in all he's just a little guy who doesn't seem to have the lights on upstairs. Too full of love for proper thoughts. The bright green collar he eventually gets doesn't even fit right but he manages to keep it on regardless.

Some other fun notes:

He has a shoestring from one of Dream's boots that is his absolute favorite toy, he often will parade it around and bring it to people when he wants to play.

He's a little climber and has a habit of perching on just about anything, including people's shoulders - it's not uncommon for him to become an oddly shaped cat scarf.

His favorite treats include eggs (cooked or uncooked, he doesn't mind either way), sweet berries, any and all meat scraps, and bits of watermelon!

Anyway I'm not gonna touch that internalized lycanphobia with a ten foot pole. Being turned by your partner is something that can be incredibly intimate as long as both parties are consenting and the one being turned is 100% sure they want it. Literally the only downside to transforming once a month is the pain, but midol works just fine. No one with these "lycanthropy bad" takes ever wants to discuss the legitimate positives that come with this "curse" lmao.

lmao my wife literally saved my life when she turned me but i guess she should be muzzled huh? we run through the woods hunting deer together and can each haul in groceries in one trip now, but nooo she's obviously a danger to society because she cares enough about me to help me when insurance wouldn't cover my medicine

Secret to getting to know other fans on tumblr is reblogging. This sounds like a trap to get you guys to reblog art and fics and gifs which yes that’s an added benefit but also the way you get a feel of followers or mutuals is the little comments in the tags of a post like subtle little whispers and you start to recognise names like oh that’s the one who’s always nice to artists or that’s the funny one or maybe they have a funny queue pun tag or maybe there can be a little prev tags interaction like that’s how you start creating your own little likeminded souls club here.
