New Apothecary Episode Thoughts (spoilers)

Little lady lishu has my heart and soul!! As I've said in one of my previous posts, i really relate to the worse off women of the rear palace, and lady lishu's storyline always makes me want to curl up and cry. But also Jinshi finally getting a chance to retaliate against her serving girls was a breath of fresh air cause I've been rooting for consequences for those menaces since day one

Season 2 Episode 8/9 Apothecary Diaries

Finished the new episode of Apothecary diaries, and like i read the novel/manga, so I've seen it before obviously, but the way that i understand Anshi as a fellow csa victim, like the guilt and fear and eventual unbridled rage that comes with being the victim of these scenarios was so well handled especially in the context of her position in the royal court, and just yeah i love how not only was her trauma handled with the seriousness it deserved but also her reaction to that trauma wasn't sugarcoated or made to frame her as the perfect wilting victim but as a traumatized person lashing out at the source of their pain.

tldr; Anshi is one of if not the best side character story in the series thus far

His thoughts and opinions: I think it's cute, but shit gets serious and i like when the main character is autistic (me and him are both autistic) Its great, jinshi is fun and they should all be lesbians (the concubines/maomao)with a boyfriend, and boyfriend is jinshi, and he's only maomao's boyfriend.

in summary i will be making him review all of my comfort anime now, because his reviews amuse me

Downside of being a college student and a huge fucking nerd is that i cannot buy my favorite manga boxset because it have to pay for textbooks :(

I am CONVINCED that Dazai's bandages smell just like slightly off and it throws Atsushi off of his work 8 times out of 10 (tiger senses go brrr) but he is too nice to say anything about it

(my proof is that I used to wear band aids on my hands all the time because I bite my nails and they always made my hands smell weird, like not bad just weird, no matter how fresh the band aids were)
