That is something I've been thinking about since I read Deja View, not too long ago, and today I finally designed it so here it is, anon!

It's the super monkey girl Jomiko! Along with Old Man Jomo Momo, of course.

Haven't thought much about her lore though, but I imagine she's also Jomo's disciple and might have been mutated on accident instead of being actively experimented on... and it's actually intriguing to think of how Jomo would have found her, since Mojo saved Mojiko in a rare heroic lapse, so what could have happened in Jomo's case...?

THE GANGREEN GANG

Continuing the trend of drawing the villains before the heroes, my future versions of the Gangreen Gang (as seen in my fic XXY, but also these apply to my general headcanons too)

From left to right: Arturo, Snake, Ace, Billy, and Grubber

It took me FOUR FUCKIN DAYS to complete this between working all weekend BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT CAUSE LIKE HELLO??? Also apologies if they look a lil too cunty, I can't de-cuntify my art style okay :'D

(Bonus Grubber with slightly messy line art because he specifically, for some God forsaken reason, has decided he would be the leading outlet for some of my own imperfections and generally have a very draw-able design at the same time)

Headcanons/Lore/Infodump about my ideas for them below, mild to major spoilers for their story in XXY (Major will be a separate section), also gonna go from left to right again cause that feels correct to me

Arturo Age: 26 Height: 4'9" (145cm) After a nasty dispute between himself and Ace, Arturo ditched the gang and cleaned up his act. He currently works at the Townsville Museum of Natural History as a tour guide, promoted from a graveyard janitorial shift after he and his stories about the gang began attracting more patrons to the museum. Despite being a center of attention for guests, and being liked by management for the increase in profit since he began working there, he's generally othered by his coworkers. He adopted a workaholic mindset, sinking himself into research to keep himself occupied from having to think about his past.

Snake Age: 27 Height: 6'1" (185cm); his slouch makes it closer to 5'11" (180cm) Shortly after graduation, Ace and Snake entered a romantic relationship following a drunken confession. He's extremely possessive of and codependent to Ace, and would take a bullet for him if a situation came down to it. Once Ace and Arturo had their fight, Snake was quick to side with Ace, even though he knew Ace was in the wrong. He desperately misses his friends, but wishes the best for them. The pair have since become lone partners in crime, and live as vagabonds house-squatting across Townsville.

Ace Age: 28 Height: 5'10 (178cm) [Sidenote: He often lies about his height] Shortly after graduation, Ace and Snake entered a romantic relationship following a drunken confession. He's well aware of Snake's abandonment issues, and doesn't mind its effects on their relationship. After a nasty dispute between himself and Arturo, Ace lets his ego get the better of him, refusing to apologize for what he had said during the fight. Once the rest of the gang split, he and Snake were the only two who truly stuck together long-term. The pair have since become lone partners in crime, and live as vagabonds house-squatting across Townsville.

Billy Age: 28 Height: 6'5" (196cm) Following Ace and Arturo's fight, Billy supported Arturo in his decision to leave, and eventually left himself. He currently works as a Cart Attendant at a local supermarket by day. By night, he occasionally performs as the drummer of an indie band in bars across Townsville. He often finds himself missing his old friends, but after a pair of previous attempts to rejoin them, he ultimately stays away, keeping to himself.

Grubber Age: 27 Height: 5'8" (173cm) GuEsS wHo JuSt gOt OuT oF pRiSoN~~~ [After the big fight, Grubber tried sticking around Ace & Snake, but found their extremely close intimacy annoying. He tried sticking around Arturo & Billy, but found their new goals boring. A wild card through and through, he shows up to bug the other gang members' lives occasionally. He was in prison for theft charges, but his bail was mysteriously paid off...]

(Another spoiler warning, here we get more general and more major XXY spoilers, but again this is a generally applicable headcanon future story-line for me)

I like to think the "big fight" happened approx. 4 years prior to this point. The gang is brought back together again, but not by choice -- their lives are being threatened by HIM, who intends to use them as pawns, a distraction for the PPGs.

Through this forced proximity, Arturo and Ace settle the matter that broke the gang apart so many years prior. While Arturo isn't happy about the prospects of his career from this situation, and Ace isn't happy about having to admit he was in the wrong, they truce, and eventually rekindle their friendship. Through this, the rest of the gang comes back together again, stronger than ever -- not good news for our beloved heroes, but good news for these misfits.

Aaaaa niiiiice! Sounds like a very good parallel like the Professor seemed to neglect Mojo which contributed to his villainy, so the Oppressor treating Jomo well (maybe too well) and contributing to him becoming a hero is a nice mirroring 😭

I wonder if Jomo left his home the same day the Powerpunks were born too? Wonder if it was right after some ultimatum argument with Plutonium that led to him siccing the Powerpunks on Jomo or just them attacking on their own?

So much to think about, man!!

This duo is under-utilized in fan stuff dude even in canon/official media. There’s perfect comedic and angst potential with these two and .. I’ve literally seen barely anything (don’t get me started on jomo and oppressor plutonium they just don’t have ANYTHING to work with)
