Heyyy. Hope you're doing well!
How about a AU where after Loki finds out he's a Frost giant but he doesn't...you know... Try to take over Asgard, Thor isn't banished and Odin isn't in the Odin sleep. The reader and Loki are childhood best friends, so when Loki is upset she notices in confronts him one day. And then Loki reveals his true heritage (but not before an argument cuz he didn't want to tell her cuz he's scared she'd get scared of him and leave him) But the reader isn't scared of him, in fact she is amazed cause he is ✨BOOTIFUL✨. And she is just amazed by it and he's confused.
And a happy ending with the reader and Loki getting together.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS. BUT THANKS ANYWAY ♥️

Loki couldn’t bring himself to move. His body went rigid and his eyes flicked from Odin to the floor. He could feel something bristling inside of his chest. He was to believe that he was a frost giant? No. That couldn’t be possible. He was raised in Asgard, he was Asgardian. He swallowed thickly, clenching his hands beside him while lifting his gaze back to meet Odins. Loki’s lips flatten into a thin line, before turning on his heels and rushing out from the throne room.
No wonder Thor was always the favored child, it all made sense now. Thor was destined to be a king since his birth. And Loki? Loki had nothing. His life was a lie, everything he was raised to believe, a lie.
He made it through the doors of the throne room and was on a mad dash toward his quarters when his shoulder clipped into an obstacle. He had barely noticed until he heard a soft grunt follow a loud thud. Too busy dealing with the thoughts that intruded his mind, he continued and brushed past the person.
When he made it to his quarters he slammed his door shut, knocking several items off from his shelves. From the outside, one could hear a muffled yell and objects being thrown about. No one dared to trespass that hall for the rest of the day.
You, unfortunately, had been the victim that was knocked to the ground earliee that day. Before you could lift yourself back onto your feet, he was already storming down the hall.
“Loki!” you called out to him, but he didn’t turn. You bit your lip, letting out a short sigh of annoyance before investigating the situation. You knew he was quite the reserves type, and figured he wouldn’t want to talk to anyone for a while. Instead, you opted to leave him his meals outside his room periodically. At first, you noticed that the plates would still be full. But after a day or two they would be empty by the time you checked in.
Eventually, you built up the courage to knock on his door. It had been 3 days since the incident, and you hoped that was enough time for him to gather himself.
“Loki?” You spoke softly, wringing your hands together in front of you. When there was no response, you waited for a few seconds before frowning. You turned to leave the hall and had only taken a few steps before you heard the knob click and the door creak open. You spun on your heels to find Loki standing in the doorframe; blank expression and book in hand.
“(Y/N),” he greets you with a curt nod. “What brings you to my chambers?” He speaks smoothy, not an ounce of anger behind his voice.
“Can we talk?” You take a step toward him, your eyes searching his.
He seems to hesitate before obliging, opening his door wider and gesturing for you to go in.
You take a few tentative steps inside, and stop when you’re standing in the center of his room. You hear the door click softly behind you, and turn to face him.
“Did something happen between you and your father?” You bite your lip when he shuts his book abruptly.
Loki sets it down on his dresser, his fingers running over the spine of the book. “He is not my father.” He drawls out with disgust, his gaze resting on the book.
You remain silent for a moment, examining his expression. “I know you, Loki.” You begin, taking a step toward him. “And I know when something is bothering you.” Another step. “You can talk to me, you know that right?” You reached to take his hand into yours, and gave it a squeeze.
He ripped his hand out from yours, and lifted his gaze to meet yours. “Nothing is wrong. If you only came here to patronize me I must ask you to leave,” he hissed.
You opened your mouth to speak, but prompty closed it. You knew he always had a cold demeanour and outward appearance, but you had never seen this side of his personality. He was always warm toward you; his one true friend. “Loki,” You warned. “Don’t do this to me. I just want to—“
“To help me? Is that what you were going to say?” He took a step toward you, and to maintain your distance you took a step back. “You can’t fix everything, (Y/N). You can’t help me, so stop trying to play savior in my life.” He looked down at you, eyes cold and unforgiving. He took another step toward you and you took another step back, maintaining eye contact.
“Do you think me a monster?” He stops in front of you, looking your face up and down as if searching. “Do you fear me when I’m angry?”
Your gaze averted at his proximity, and you suddenly found the floor much more intriguing than you ever had. You did not fear him nor think him to be a monster. But you hated seeing him so closed off and cold toward you.
“No,” you managed out, barely a whisper. “I don’t.” You looked up at him. “You’re not a monster.”
“Yes, I am! That is exactly what I am!” He screams, flinging his book across the room. It lodges itself in the wall with a loud crack.
“What are you saying?” Your voice was filled with concern, and you reached out to hold his arm.
He paused, knitting his brows together and gnawing his inner cheek. “I am, not who you think I am. I am not what I appear to be.” He tore himself away from you, folding his arms behind his back. “I fear that if I tell you, you will abandon me for what I truly am.”
“Loki, I could never.” You reassured him, your gaze following his form as he paces the room. “Whatever it is that you aren’t telling me, I promise. I won’t think any less of you. I love you for who you are, and I know you.”
“Even if I am this?” He turned to face you. His pale skin had been flushed to a deep blue, and ridges formed along his exposed skin. His pale blue eyes were now replaced with a deep blood red shade, and yet he still resembled himself to you. He winced when his eyes met yours, expecting disgust, but was shocked when he was met with bewilderment and excitement?
“I—“ You couldn’t form a coherent sentence.
“I understand if you no longer—“
“No, that’s not it. You’re,” you were at a loss for words, approching him and reaching out to caress his face. “You’re beautiful, Loki.”
“I am what?” His sullen demeanor quickly changed into a perplexed one.
“Have you always had this form?” You inquired, walking around him in a quick circle. “Are the ridges on your skin purely for aesthetic?” You gently took his arm and pulled up his sleeve.
“I am unsure—“
“Did your vision change at all?” You reached up to lay a hand on his cheek, pulling yourself up on your tiptoes to inspect his eyes more closely. You only realized your close proximity when you felt his hands around your waist, steadying your balance.
Your cheeks flushed a bit of embarassment, and you pulled away from his face your hand moving from his cheek to his shoulder.
“No, I can see just fine.” He assured, a small grin toying at the edge of his lips. “I appreciate your enthusiasm though, darling.”
“I mean it, Loki. You are beautiful.” You meet his gaze with admiration. “And I still love you the same, if not more.” You spoke quietly, a smile gracing your lips.
“Oh, so you love me?” He teased, his hand moving to cup your chin. He tilted your face gently until you faced him.
“Yes, I do.” You rolled your eyes, grinning up at him.
He let out a light hearted laugh, pulling you in closer toward him. He places a small kiss to your lips, pulling away and running his thumb across your cheek. “Thank you, my love.”
