re: Rung and the Guiding Hand, I really love the history and consequences of the reinterpretations of Primus as almighty powerful being but also sometimes I just want to see a world where all the Cybertronians remember who their gods are and just treat it as a fact of life.

by this i mean sometimes when a cohort from this species of jocks is doing interplanetary negotiations they see a tiny nerd going by and immediately go ‘HI RUNG ARE YOU PROUD OF US’ and inform the aliens ‘this is our DAD we love him he has eyebrows’ and sometimes the alien species look at the cybertronians and go ‘?? shouldn’t he be…big?’ and the cybertronians go ‘no that’s what he has US for’

I don’t know why i like the protectobots so much, GENUINELY, it’s an absolute mystery. They’ve got no presence at all in any of the media, the writers of g1 LITERALLY forgot to make an intro episode for them so one day they just appear without explanation out of this terrible secret HQ disguised as a soup? factory? They don’t do anything cool in G1, none of them are especially good fighters, Defensor shows up like twice; once to get his ass kicked immediately and the other to run around like a dickhead with one arm after Aid ran off to cry abt being a soft-handed empath femboy and fix fridges in some random old man’s yard…. in mtmte they just follow a boyboss-pilled Aid around and goof off, they’re a search and rescue team with a motorbike…….. i could have picked anything else in this massive sprawling canon with an actual fanbase but they’re all i want, and i can’t even justify it.… i love them…
