PLEASE HELP US

My boyfriend left their house last month, due to his abusivefather (his father chased him with a knife.) He lived indifferent places for amonth, leaving our cat, Rengar behind. Last Wednesday his brother contacted himand said that Rengar had an accident, Rengar had been hit by a car. We tookRengar to my house and nursed him. We looked for vets that offers xray as adviced by the first vet we consulted. This Saturday we had him xrayed, and the result was heart breaking. He has a full fracture on his right leg, and his left leg can’t feel anything.

According to the vets he’s not a candidate for cast or amputation yet, Rengar needs to regain his strength first. If Rengar will not get better/healthy in a week, the vet suggested to have him“put to sleep”.

Our Rengar is a sweet boy, we adopted him from a friend last year, they found him on the streets of Manila. As the name suggests he looks like Rengar from the League of Legends game - pure white, odd eyed and strong. My boyfriend kept Rengar with him, while I provide him his basic needs. It breaks our heart to see him confined in a small space, suffering. We don’t know what to do, but I know Rengar wants to live and he will fight for it. He eats a lot now compared to  the first time we recovered him. I monitor him everyday, I have his cage inside my room. He almost doesn’t want me to leave his side, he always puts his head on my hand, and will pull my arm down whenever I try to leave.  

We are confident that Rengar will regain his strength by next week and be a candidate for surgery. But we cannot afford the procedure. Our family is currently preparing for my mother’s surgery for her leg(Osteoarthritis she also had a stroke a couple of years ago too), my sister has no job and I’m the only one providing for our family of 5, while working as a 3D artist from an Indie game company in the Philippines.My boyfriend on the other hand is a freelance 2D artist, he just left his house and is starting over. We also do “buy and sell” stuff, mostly selling game console accessories or surplus items from Japan. As you can tell we don’t really earn that much.

I hope you guys can help us, we love Rengar so much. I know it was a mistake leaving him behind in the first place, but we were scared of having my boyfriend killed by his own father. We were relieved to have his father finally out of his life. We were making arrangements in getting my boyfriend’s things from their house, before this accident happened. I really wish we could have accomplished it sooner.     

We don’t know exactly know how much the procedure will be (either cast or amputate), the estimate is roughly around $500, might be lower or higher depending on the availability of the surgeon, according to the vets their surgeon only visits their clinic once a month. We are still on the look for other vets/clinics who can do this procedure.

We are asking for any amount you can give us, in return we will draw you a simple image of your avatar or any character/person you want, probably a bust/portrait sketch or a simple lineart, depending on our availability. Hope you understand.
