She is Ann, a twenty-something old soul who has apparently been the victim of growing up which apparently happens to us at one point or another. It has been going on for quite some time now without her knowing it. She has found out that growing up can mean a lot of things.

As you grow, you will begin to feel content with some of the things you can't possibly imagine right now.
Life recently may not be impressive by the world’s standards, yet it feels complete in its own sense – and I’m learning how to be thoroughly, entirely fine with that.

“Then Jacob kissed Rachel and wept aloud.” -Genesis 29:11
“And [Peter] went out and wept bitterly.” -Luke 22:62
“Then [Joseph] fell upon his brother Benjamin’s neck and wept, and Benjamin wept upon his neck.” -Genesis 45:14
“They buried Abner at Hebron. And the king [David] lifted up his voice and wept at the grave of Abner, and all the people wept.” -2 Samuel 3:32
“Then Joseph fell on his father’s face and wept over him and kissed him.”-Genesis 50:1
“But Esau ran to meet [Jacob] and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.” -Genesis 33:4
“And [Joseph] wept aloud, so that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.” -Genesis 45:2
“Jesus wept.”-John 11:35
Friendly reminder the the Bible is full of men crying, including Jesus, and that there is no biblical precedent for the idea that it’s unmasculine to express your emotions.

J U N E D U M P —
It's funny to think that we're already on the second half of the year. I somehow felt lost in the woods and realized I made a wrong turn in some aspects of my life. It's funny that no matter how hard you planned, things would not go to the way you have expected them to go. I'm still grateful with the things that happened for the past six months. I know that they are redirections to what God has planned to my life.
At the end of the day, His will prevails.

M A Y D U M P —
This is late but I will still share it anyway. Hahahaha. Here are some snaps from this month!
My person is one of our new volunteers for Kids' Church. He has been handling and teaching kids for 2 months now. It is just cute to see how he handles them and plays with them. From being friends to being a Sunday school teachers now.
I went out with my friends this month. Those friends are from my previous workplace. We also played badminton and we were planning to make it (hopefully) regular. Yeah, I'm happy with our low-key friendship!
One of the people I'm close with from church just passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers! Praise God!
I cannot help but to be LSS again (for the nth time) with Daylight. Taylor just put into words the pure bliss of meeting your soulmate. I can still remember when I was also thinking like Oh Ha Ni from Playful Kiss. I just think that I found my Daylight.

Demon Slayer season 3 is slaying with their animations. I mean their visuals are too good to be true!!!
That's it! it's funny how I shared and described the summer season, but with just an instant, rainy season has officially started. I hope June has been good to you so far.

A P R I L D U M P —
A lot of people are sharing their monthly dumps, Tumblr is just the only one I’m really comfortable sharing mine with. Maybe because I have been doing this for years now. Here’s some updates from me:
Summer season has officially started and I often find myself having an headache because of the extreme hotness these days. Actually, I just recently had cough and cold. It’s very important to stay hydrated especially with this season.
Most of the snaps from this month were from our Youth Camp, and we called it ALPAS. Almost a hundred of young people participated and encountered God. We couldn’t be more thankful to God for this successful activity. All glory belongs to Him.
To tell you guys, April is very special to me because I celebrate many occasions for this month -- anniversary, and birthdays. I turned a year older once again. Days are long but years are indeed short.
We had our Day 2 Training Kids’ Church teachers! This time new volunteers experienced a practicum. Aside from that, our students had their first offertory number and I just couldn’t help myself! They were so cute!!! Click here for GIF hahahahaha.
I have been an ESL teacher for 3 months now! I consider this as one of my small wins! I praise God for the people I get to meet and the perspectives I get from them, and also of course I’m thankful for the management I’m working with right now.
I hope everyone has been great! Let’s claim that May will be good to us!

Affirmations for April:
I will try not to judge myself in a negative way. I will accept my flaws and focus on things I like about myself and things I can improve.
I will let go of things and habits that don't serve me right.
I am deeply loved, even when I don't feel it.
It’s okay if I am not making progress as fast as I think I should be. I have to be patient with myself.
Good things are waiting for me and life is still full of kind and beautiful things. What I see now is not the full picture of it.

MARCH DUMP —
Well, hello! It’s nice to pass by on your dash. I think I will continue doing this for the rest of the year. How have you been? I hope life has been good to you. Anyway, I could not believe that it’s already April. It’s my birth month! But of course before that, let me share you some highlights of this month:
We had training for Kids’ Church teachers! I was delighted for there were another volunteers for our ministry. Glory to God! Aside from that, we started to get them involved in our church. We are planning to have an offertory number monthly. I am looking forward for more!
I was given a chance to preach in Youth Jam.
My person was given a chance to preach in KPP as well. I’m so happy for him!
My brother celebrated his 32nd birthday.
I am literally enjoying my work now. I’m getting attached with my students.
So, yeah! ‘Til next update!

One of my students shared her photos of cherry blossoms to me. She said that she remembered when I told her that it is my dream to see them in person. Oh, little things — they make my heart melt.
