Musical instruments are mainly categorized by the way they generate sound. All musical instruments fall under one of the following - string, wind, percussion and keyboard, though there may be further divisions and sub-divisions. Examples of string instruments include guitars, violins, ukuleles and cellos. Wind instruments include pipes, sax, clarinet, flute and such other types. Drums, bongos, cymbals and bells fall under the percussions category. And keyboard instruments include pianos, harpsichords, organs and accordions. Over 1000 musical instruments are available across the world, including folk instruments. If you want to play on your own, then it is better to start with a musical instrument you like, and then gradually master the instrument by joining music classes. If you like music in general and are not interested in specializing in any particular type of instrument then a keyboard can be the perfect choice. Electronic keyboards nowadays can produce all sorts of sound ranging from guitar tunes to drum beats. On the other hand, if you were thinking of organizing a band then you would need different types of musical instruments. A band normally includes a couple of string instruments, percussions and preferably a wind instrument.

Interesting...flutes?

Found these two wooden flutes which I was able to identify as such through Google Lens, but cannot find anything else about what kind other than a "Hohn" brand flute on eBay that was for sale looking exactly the same, but these are missing any branding. Curious on more info like when they were used, where...etc. was hoping you all could help here.
The larger one is 14.5" long and the smaller one 12.5". It seems as if the metal ends are made of lead. The black piece at the larger end slides out completely and seems like it could be used to adjust pitch or something like that.
Thanks!

What are the instruments in this song??
It's in these YouTube Videos and I'm fairly certain it's on epidemic sound. I think that if I can find out just what in the hell that instrument is, the genre, and the bpm, then I'd be able to find it. And since this is a way for me to be able to find out that stuff, it makes me think that I won't have to spend another year trying to figure out what this stupid song is.

What is this shaker-like instrument?
There is an instrument I am interested in using in a composition of my own. It sounds like some kind of shaken idiophone, but not like a maraca or standard shaker. I know I have heard it in at least two places:
The very beginning of Boss Theme 2 from Terraria, played at the same time as a cymbal scrape:
https://youtu.be/Dz3tP8IVhFY
This part of the Hateno Village theme from Breath of the Wild (and Tears of the Kingdom):
https://youtu.be/8lHfMV1ycz4?t=7
Thank you to anyone who can help me identify this.

What's this instrument that makes a helicopter-like noise?
It's a sort of "windy" sound, like a piece of thick paper being whipped around, or a propeller on a helicopter. Here's some examples:
The first 15 seconds here. Not the drums. You can hear it most clearly between 0:14-0:16 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t47eiOLRysQ
Here, it's throughout the song but most audible between 0:54 and 0:58, and again at 2:16 through 2:19 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vcMjYUBx7E
wish i could find more examples, but i rarely ever hear it. I love how it sounds though

Need help identifying this specific wind instrument
I’ve heard it some classical music before, but the most recent example that I’ve heard it in is Carroll Gibbon’s “Isn’t it Romantic” (1932), at around the 2:12 mark. Is it some type of clarinet?

Help required in identifying a specific percussion(?) instrument
I have long since been fascinated with a certain deep-sounding -- what I presume is a percussion -- instrument. If you have a listen to the songs provided below, then this instrument might strike your ear:
Yukihiro Takahashi - Fuyuno Shiruetto / 冬のシルエット [can be heard clearly for a brief duration from the four/five second mark (bonus points to anyone who could also identify the faint "ticky" (not rattly) instrument accompanying it): https://youtu.be/MixDPmifmDA]
C148 - Wait [a similar (possibly the same) instrument of a higher pitch can be heard throughout the entirety of the arrangement: https://youtu.be/sBl9qcaQos4]
I would be most grateful to whomever could identify this instrument for me!

https://youtu.be/UP63DVZpXF0?t=282 The third theme around 4:40 specifically has many wind instruments playing, I wanna know their names please, or at least some of them! A good example goes around 6:10 too, it sounds very beautiful.

What is this type of synth sound called?
I think the instrument at the beginning of this song Coconut Love is a synth (besides the drums/bass/guitar, CMIIW). What's the name of the specific synth sound/setting? Other songs with this instrument would also be appreciated. Thanks!
