I’m curious about Ben being half-sorcerer. Does it have to do with him being implied to be a descendant of the Enchantress?

It does! It's taken from the twisted tale book where the Enchantress is Belle's mother, so that makes her Ben's grandmother. He doesn't know this and his parents are really anti magic so it's all pretty underdeveloped and only manifest in tiny details most (including him) don't notice, like his charisma and persuasion or his affinity for magic (like the enchanted lake). It's something he gets to explore post-canon, with his parents out of the picture and Mal's help.

DESCENDANTS REWRITE 💜

i love descendants, was super excited when it first came out and loved ever since (fun fact: i first thought it was going to be a series) and now i wanted to recreate the characters and the story

i wanted to make my own version of the story, now set in a fantasy world where the disney stories take place and 'medieval' and 'modern' kingdoms and cities coexist just normal (its like dont think too much so it wont lose sense), but now the isle of the lost is in another dimension, where only exists that land and infinite sea and very litttle magic (i can talk about the origin story of the isle later, because is very interesting)

i started with the main 4 vks and wanted to create something original, closer to their animated parents, but still their own charecters, their appearance and personalities are quite different, but i think they're just as great and fun (and i added a feel fun facts about them 😄)

merlin academy but it's the 80s and there's some big dark academia vibes to it and maleficent is a goth weird bookworm girl with a thick irish accent and she's in the world's worst throuple with a punk loser (hades) and a black queen (persephone) and is choosing to make it everybody's problem because she's a cancer with no emotional regulation, meanwhile there's a twink with mommy issues and pyromaniac tendencies that's trying to get her to teach him magic and he's kinda annoying but she can also relate to him so they end up becoming friends, then she finds out he has a crush on this guy that's on the school because he has a scholarship to be in the navy or something but really only cares about having a ship, and people don't like him because he's obscene and lower class and loves to make fun of the novelty with his fake british accent alongside his sea witch friend that suffers from younger sister syndrome and is actually part of that novelty she mocks, but also not really because of her insane family lore that also makes her related to hades somehow. they all just end up terrorizing their classmates together in a fucked up found family way.

one of those classmates happens to be a girl with comphet and beautiful princess disorder that gets magical mental illness because the only girl that was kind to her got a boyfriend and didn't invite her to prom.
