Why is Pluto still disabled when Lenore isn't? I know how you feel about pointing out inconsistencies but I'm just asking if this IS an inconsistency or if there's a reason that hasn't been explained yet (like her making a full recovery over time or magic after-death healing so it's moderately fair competition or smth😭)

Oh, I've got absolutely no problem with pointing out inconsistencies! Trust me, I'm the first one to get pedantic about this kind of thing (to Flynn's eternal dismay). It only gets weird for me when people take it from the totally chill "hm, I think rnf might have made a mistake" to the considerably less chill "...which is PROBLEMATIC and EVIL, ACTUALLY." 💀 So point away! On the subject of Pluto's eye versus Lenore's hip, it's not an inconsistency, but it is a distinction that ended up a little bit more convoluted than I'd like. Pluto went blind in one eye, and is still blind in that eye, just as Montresor lost a tooth and that tooth is still lost. Pluto still has a scar on his face, as Lenore still has scarring on her hip. But neither Pluto's eye or Lenore's hip (or presumably Montresor's tooth) has given them any kind of noticeable or prolonged pain since they arrived at Nevermore Academy. This doesn't help Pluto see because whether it's painful or not, he's still blind in that eye, but it has helped Lenore walk because chronic pain was the main thing preventing her from doing so in the first place. Now I'm going to add a little disclaimer to this. Using my explanation here, you might be able to nitpick occasions where this rule doesn't make perfect sense. Like how Morella didn't have her lucky locket when she showed up, but Montresor had his gold tooth even though it's technically not a part of him. And to that? I must be a little bit hand-wavy. Sometimes in stories the narrative glances past explanations that would be boring or irrelevant to the plot. Like, do you really want to read the episode where some greasy gap-toothed guy who you don't even know yet sits through a dental appointment in the academy's infirmary just so he can have a gold tooth in his design later? Cuz I mean. I don't really wanna make it, lmao. In short? Flynn and I do internally keep pretty strict rules for this world and the magic in it, even if we don't always share it with you. Rules we follow closely. Otherwise, there'd be no stakes. If a character can just break the world's rules because the plot needs them to, then literally nothing matters. That's a big personal peeve of mine and we work pretty tirelessly to keep everything above board in that respect. No deus ex machina here.

Kris and Kris II

Okay so I was bored and didn't know what to do, so I searched for a headcanon generator (not ai obviously), and one of the first headcanons that I got was that Kris had a pet piranha, and honestly? I can totally see it, so of course I had to draw this.

The piranha was named after Kris by Asriel (kind of like when you are given the chance to name Onionsan "Asriel II"), and it was gifted to them when they were nine by Dess as a birthday gift (because who else would give a nine year old a freaking piranha), and at first Toriel and Asgore were like "fuck no, we are not letting them have this thing" but Kris got attached to it really quickly and none of them had the heart to get rid of it, so now there is a freaking piranha chilling in the middle of the living room. Kris takes it for a walk from time to time.
