Shortbread Jam Cookies

Ingredients - 4 ounces of homemade Jam (I used cherry, any red or blue beery will work) for every dozen cookies -Short bread cookie dough -flour -berries (optional)

Okay, first things first. The jam must be slightly chilled. When you are cutting the cookies make sure they are a quarter inch high and two inches across.

Seven minutes in to baking (this automatically makes the cookies’ bake time 14 minutes) the jam out and make a dent in the center of the cookies that is half an inch and slio a teaspoon of your chilled jam in the dent. Let it cook and check it every three minutes.

If you want to, take your berries and place it in the runny jam. Let them cool for ten to twenty minutes in the fridge and wait for the jam to solidify and take them iut to serve at room temperature.
