Half a year ago an artist friend (Notidee on bluesky) did a DTIYS with his characters Kehrüs and Nox I did a sketch because I liked the idea and then forgot about it before going back to it last month (I wanted to try how to draw gold foil on krita for future projects for my OCS and it was the perfect experimentation subject) (I also tried to refine a bit how I shade illustrations)

I had some fun experimenting with Krita's watercolour brushes

A couple weeks ago @inayaeza & I were catching up on our blorbos and he told me that their half-elf OC Sarian could change into a wolf now, and I went wait, do you remember my idiot Luin can change into a wolf too?? And we both agreed that the two of them needed to have a "half-elf who can turn into a wolf" meeting and have clown-to-clown communication together

I finished this last week but forgot to post it ='D Here are the designs of the (human) cast of my comic project Gamalaou!

The story takes place during the 90s, so I used a lot of old photos and my own memories for the clothes and hairstyles (the four classmates are actually based on my own classmates from primary school) Except for the grandparents, who I wanted to be a bit like stereotypical Provençal elders, so I gave them clothes inspired by Provençal costumes from the early 20th century

I haven't been posting a lot here in the last month - that's because I was busy working on my comic project again! Mostly researching the design of the characters

Not sure if I'll be able to color them all before the end of the month so I'm posting them here. In order, we have: The three siblings, Fanny, François, & Alex. Fanny & François (6-7yo) are the comic's main characters, and Alex is their younger sibling (4-5yo). It's revealed at the end that Alex is the narrator reminiscing their childhood

Anissa, Élodie, Benjamin & Maxime are Fanny & François' friends - they appear during the twins' birthday

Lo papet & la Mamet ("the grandpa" & "the grandma" in Occitan) are Fanny, François & Alex' grandparents. Their names are Marius and Margarido

The story is set in Provence in the 1990s - I used a lot of my own memories & old photos for the clothes & aesthetics
