It’s been a hot minute since any real post from me, so I figure I can give an update of sorts. Although nothing’s really changed. I’m still fixationless. (I did learn some things about ADHD that convinces me I do have it though, lol.)

On the plus side, I’ve been really into Minecraft for the first time in years, and that’s been fun! I got a seed with a really neat mountain-set village, so I’ve been tidying up that and the surrounding areas. (With my bro joining me here and there. ^^) I've been hoping this village would spark a story flame in my mind, but so far it's just been a fun art project. XD

Hello! My beautiful dogs, Button and Latte, have needed some emergency vet visits! Both different, completely unrelated things that just happened to come within days of one another.

As you can imagine, this has been EXPENSIVE... My poor puppies are worth it, though. It hasn't been long, but they're already both recovering well. Anything you can spare would be amazing!! Thank you!

Well, I think it's been long enough now that it's official; The MOLD mood has left me. u.u

So I'm between fixations again and mentally meandering until my next one pops up. Wish me luck. XD

Drawing tablet recommendations?

Okay, so my trusty old Galaxy Tab S3 that I've been working on exclusively since 2018 is... well, it's getting on in years. The battery life is starting to drain a LOT faster than it used to- it lags despite my system clean-up attempts, and the only art program I CAN run on it (medibang paint) has gotten so utterly bogged down by ads and paywalled tools that it's just getting frustrating to use.

I'm thinking it MIGHT finally be time for an upgrade- something that can run CSP maybe, and something with HIGH pressure sensitivity in the stylus (i draw light and prefer my lines to reflect that)

Does anyone have any affordable recs? I'd prefer a screen tablet that I can carry around with me. I hear mixed reviews about Huion, but the same can be said for Wacom, so I'd love to hear from fellow artists on preferences.

Today's been a day of Uninspiration. Haven't felt like drawing or playing games, aside from some bouts of shiny hunting.

But one shiny that I came across managed to steel my heart, lol!

I don't think I've ever double-take'ed that hard in Legends. XD

It's Docile, Capable of taking hits... and female! I've had her for only a few hours as of posting this, but I love her. XD Her name is Anaya. ^-^

And because I gotta take the muses where I can find 'em, I sketch-painted her~

Anyway, hoping this doesn't mark the end of my MOLD mood. 🙃

Coco had another name idea for Frost after she accepted the name Eirwen? What was it? Why did Eirwen keep the name Eirwen?

As for why she kept it; she wasn't used to people thinking so specially of her, so she felt unusually warmly toward Eirwen.

Alright, doodle dump time! I've got some works that I can throw Tumblr's way, lol

First, a thought I had recently while playing Pokemon; I wanted to see if I could adapt Silver the Shiny Buizel into a MOLDverse wolf.

I think it would be fun to include him somehow. ^^ Design prob'ly isn't final, although I do like those colors~

And now, a redraw of an end of Chapter panel from MOLD.

It was brought to my attention that Corvus' hair proportions are such that he could pull of an Emo 'do. XD

Not sure how well I pulled it off, but an attempt was made, lol

Speaking of attempts being made, here are a couple rendered pieces.

For this one I wanted to paint sharp shadows. Not sure how much I like the result, but it still looks cool enough. ^^

And then for this one I shared a pic with a friend of a plaid ribbon I'd put on Crystal's plush, and said friend suggested a plaid dress for her. So I yoinked a pattern off Google and cheated it onto her, lol!

Didn't really mean for it to turn into a painting though. XD I just wanted to help accentuate the shapes of the dress.

And some Brush-tweaking/family bonding doodles! :D

And now one I did last night that I'm SUPER happy and proud with! It's a lovechild between wanting to render, and wanting to sketch/doodle, lol.

A bit different from my usual style, but I had a LOT of fun with it! ^v^

That is all for now! I've finished the next part, and may post that soon, if I feel like it. (But I may also want to have the following one more cleaned up before, so we'll see.)
