When I was still in the womb, my parents were sure I was going to be a boy. Like... they were SURE. Right up until my mother heard my deceased great-grandma saying her name from beyond the grave, which is when she knew I'd be assigned female at birth. If I remember right they scrambled to find a girl name because of it. They'd had a boy name picked out.

I'm a trans man. Turns out parents do know best. Except now my parents don't accept that I'm a man.

Has anybody else experienced this or something similar? Your parents *knew* you were going to be born the gender you actually are?

My great-grandma was a gender-noncomforming person who still used female pronouns. She had short hair which for the time was scandalous, and she wore pants and did lots of things that were deemed "only men's jobs." So I firmly believe that if that really was my great-grandma, what she meant was that I was gonna be born like her, which... I'm something like her 😅

I've been watching "Transparent," and Maura's dad knew she was going to be a girl before she was born, even saying upon someone questioning that, "a father just knows these things." If you've seen the series you know Maura is a trans woman. Her dad really did know ❤️ Probably nobody ever told her that he'd said that. Fortunately for me, I was told since they figured I could understand it, that they thought I was a boy until ggma spoke.

I thought I was the only one who might have that knowledge or strangely cool accidental trans ally insight, but I'm out here hoping that others have experienced this, too.

It's already hard for trans people to find jobs. And now...well now I feel I have to minimize while I'm at work, to not make any disturbances so I don't get fired.

I transitioned so I could be free, and I'm getting forced back into the closet. I just... don't know what to do. When will life ever feel ok?

As a gay autistic person, I relate to Stolas so much because of it and honestly, I just love the way that Stolas is written because he's so autism coded and as such I can then relate to him since I show similar behaviours as well (stimming for example), a thing I really like about helluva boss is the varied amount of representation in it, it just feels like there's always a character or more you can relate to, and for me that's Stolas and by extension Blitz, which is probably why I put so much stock into helluva boss and Stolitz because I can relate to it so well in my own little way.
