Ok so this is going to be part of a series called dating BTS, I got asked to do a Jin imagine so that’s why I thought it would be best to start with Jin.

Jin would be such a great boyfriend

He would cook for you all the time

He’d try and teach you how to cook but you’d be hopeless at it and give up, leaving the kitchen in a right state

Whenever he sees someone flirting with you he gives you a certain look as if to say ‘is he bothering you’ most of the time you shake your head and shut the guy down yourself.

But one time that didn’t exactly work and Jin had to come over and take you away.

Jin would freak out if you hurt yourself

Even if it was one tiny scratch he’d try and take you to the hospital.

Obviously you didn’t let him, so he put a plaster on it and carried you everywhere for a week.

When you’re sick Jin can’t leave you

“Jin you have to go to rehearsals!”

“No, I have to take care of you!”

One of the other members would have to drag him away.

He’d call you whenever he had a break

And when he got home he would run straight to your room to find you and when you weren’t there he’d run all over the house.

He’d eventually find you in the living room cleaning.

He’d scoop you up in his arms and carry you back to bed.

He’d lay with you until you fell asleep and then he’d finish cleaning.

You’d find him the next day asleep on the sofa in an immaculate room.

Jeon Jungkook as your crush (High School AU)

You had been his classmate for a long time but you hadn’t been close until you had more classes together.

You shared science, math, and gym together.

It didn’t take long for a crush to form. He’s very easy on the eyes with his nice smile and dark hair. But physical attraction was one thing. As the school year progressed, you got a crush on him for everything else.

Gym. You weren’t super awful in gym but you weren’t super great. One thing that always made you scared of gym class was teams.

Sadly, you had no friends in that class. So you were scared you would be picked last. The teacher decided to pick several captains for a bracket.

Jungkook was third in line to pick his team.

You had this kind of day dream that he would pick you and you would grow close with him and he would smile at you and praise you for your hard work.

His first round pick, he picked Kim Taehyung, his older friend.

Of course your daydream would be wrong. Jungkook had a lot of friends and Taehyung just happened to be one of his best ones.

But second time around he did pick you!

You weren’t that surprised that he knew your name. After all, when you go to school with people so long, you begin to know a lot of names. Plus you have been in classes with him before and have even done a group project with him. But that was a while ago.

Anyway, Jungkook picked you to be on his team. Then once the teams were picked, your team had to go first against Yugyeom’s team.

You ran and sweat. It was gross and you were tired. But luckily your team won. Although the scores were close.

Your team has a few more matches and Jungkook wants the team to get better so the scores don’t get too close.

You are one of the weaker members so he offers help.

You figured he just wanted to win so you agree.

He was a good teacher although he could use a bit more patience. But his fond look when you did something right was great.

Your team won the next match but only made it to semifinals in gym class. You were happy that you hadn’t made a complete fool of yourself with his help.

In science class, you sat kind of close to him. Normally when the teacher paired up, you would work alone.

One day Jungkook approached you and asked for you to be lab partners. The teacher assigned a month long project. After smiling a little you agreed. You felt like it would be rude to say no.

He usually paired up with Yugyeom but he partnered with a foreign student, BamBam.

So, Jungkook became your cheesy and distracting lab partner.

He works hard but sometimes slacks off occasionally.

He makes the goggles look good.

Jungkook does his amount of work but asks for help even if he knows the answer.

*He likes how cute you look teaching him

Jungkook sometimes talks to you outside of class

Inside jokes develop

He talks to his friends about you. *You don’t know this

“Y/N says to do this to help with sickness,” “Y/N says that a lot,” “ Y/N has the cutest laugh”

Someone gets jealous. It’s childish really. Just a slight rumor that get manipulated and twisted.

It goes from “Y/N has the biggest crush on Jungkook” to “Y/N had sex with a bunch of the soccer team because Jungkook asked her to do it.”

Once you hear it from an older classmate, sweet Park Jimin, you start to head toward an exit to skip school. Your parents might be angry but you can deal with the whispers and the occasional eyes look at you too closely.

Jungkook stops you and hugs you in the middle of the hallway. People see and some grumble that you are blocking the way. Jungkook tugs you to side and hugs you again.

Warm hugs are the best

Jungkook slowly looks up and sees his friends nearby. Taehyung and Yugyeom are holding a thumbs up. But one of the girls he’s friends with seems to be a little more than irritated. Jungkook pulls back and confesses

“I’ve liked you for a while. At least since I helped you in gym class. Then when we talked in science I liked you more. I’m really sorry about the rumors. It must be so embarrassing for you. It’s all my fault. I’m the one with the crush and they attack you.”

So with the courage of his confession, you admit to liking him too.

Big bunny smile and another hug

You sit with his friends now and talk to them

They become fond of you. Jungkook’s hyungs like you like a little sister

so im gonna go with the very typical soulmate au where whatever is on your soulmate’s skin temporarily appears on your skin bc its my absolute favorite

as we all know jungkook is an amazing artist

he probably used to doodle on himself all the time

anYWAYS ever since you can remember, you’ve had doodle marks appear on your skin

as you’ve gotten older, the doodles have become more intricate and better overall

when you were just 4 or 5 they were just squiggles and stick figures

in middle school they became rough outlines of faces and surprisingly accurate depictions of comic book characters, where you learn he has an undying love for iron man

in high school he’d draw full-on art projects with colored markers and everything and he’d SIGN THEM (what a cutie)

its during high school when he starts leaving you small notes along with the full-color floral studies and portraits

under his drawings he’ll say things like “flowers for you!” or “i hope you had a good day!” or “hi again! i can’t wait to meet you!”

sometimes he’ll become discouraged by your silence and write things like “why don’t you ever reply?” or “i miss you, and i don’t even know you” or “i know you must be out there so why won’t you say anything?”

you’ve never replied to any of his doodles bc you’re scared of disappointing each other. your society has romanticized and hyped up the soulmate experience so much that a lot of times, people are disappointed by the reality of their soulmates. then again, those people are selfish, but you still felt like you had to be cautious and protective.

one night, while jungkook was feeling self-conscious about your silence, he picked up a black sharpie and wrote, “i should stop drawing. i’m probably bothering you”

although you had never replied, jungkook’s drawings often made your days brighter and had brought a loving smile to your face whenever they’d appear.

you definitely did not want them to stop so, for the first time, you wrote back: “please don’t stop. i love them.”

jungkook absolutely freaked out when he saw that you replied. he had honestly given up hope that you’d ever reply, so this stunned him for a good hour

when he finally collected his thoughts he wrote back, “why didn’t you say anything before?”

jungkook was understanding. he, too, knows that some people are disappointed by their soulmates when they finally meet them. your fear was valid, but he also knows that he already loves you unconditionally, despite this being his first conversation with you.

he writes, “you could never disappoint me.” after thinking for a bit he continues, “thank you.”

a couple months later, jungkook has only managed to talk to you once since your earlier conversation, but he understands that you’re only afraid of letting him down so he’s content with not hearing anything from you and continuing to send you doodles.

in that one conversation since the first time you talked jungkook learned your name and that you both were the same age

one day, he’s in the library and he finishes a brand-new doodle of a fox on his forearm. he signs it and continues to do schoolwork. his pen runs out of ink so he gets up to go to the front of the library where they have extra pens and pencils.

while he’s walking up there he passes a girl who fell asleep on top of a book, and her forearm is exposed

her forearm just happens to have an exact replica of the fox he just drew on his own arm.

jungkook’s heart is now beating out of his chest, and he tries to tell himself that no, it’s just a coincidence

but how can it be a coincidence when his signature is perfectly printed on her forearm?

you start to stir in your sleep and wake up so of course jungkook freaks out and speed walks away to get a new pen

when he walks by your table again, you’re fully awake and back to working on your schoolwork, so he takes a chance

he calls your name like a question, and you turn around.

jungkook can’t help but smile as he says, “i’m sorry, but i just happened to notice that my drawing has appeared on your arm.” he’s so relieved and so happy that he’s finally met you. it feels like he’s fulfilled his life purpose. the incredibly handsome boy in front of you shows you his forearm and you start internally freaking out bc yes, that is an exact copy of the beautiful drawing on your arm. he finishes by saying, “i’m jungkook.”

a little stunned you say hi and let him sit with you. you both don’t really know what to say so you just talk about each other’s day and exchange numbers when you have to part ways.

jungkook erases all of your fears about disappointing him when he immediately texts you, “for all these years, i have imagined what you might be like, and now i know that my imagination could never do you justice.”

you’re definitely more talkative after that, and you both see each other as much as possible. jungkook proves to be the best soulmate for you, as he is incredibly caring, romantic, and patient with you when you’re insecure.
