the low register works sort of ok but anything higher just doesn’t work at all, and i think this three month break is costing me my flexibility, the way i sing rn sounds like i’ve never been trained, some days i can hold a note just fine and then another day there’s just nothing, some hissing maybe lol but no sound comes out, i can sing songs like cherry wine or smth like that but no ariana obv

so overall its still Progrees ig going from whispering to singing songs in the lower subtone and the way i speak sounds like i just have a stuffed nose so that’s smth?

it’s just annoying that’s it’s taking so so so long but the more i stress ab it the worse it gets

really strange how you can be almost at peace with something that happened to you but it will continue to be a defining moment of your life for the rest of your life. you wont think about it much anymore but in a conversation about a film someone will mention the year it was released and you’ll think to yourself, “that was before it happened” and you’ll see an old photo and think how strange it is to have existed before it happened and somehow it’s like living a life in two acts
