Jory and his doggo Lightfoot ✨

Lightfoot is a Bredonian Shepherd, a dog bred to protect properties from trespassers and guard livestock from large and small predators such as wolves and sometimes bears for centuries in Bredonia.

They’re incredibly loyal, proud, but fierce protectors when it comes to their families and herds. They can grow to be rather large (23-30 inches), with the mountain shepherd, such as Lightfoot, having a full and long coat. The lowland shepherd has shorter and coarser fur.

Lightfoot came into Jory’s care as a runt, having come across a man about to throw a sack into a nearby river. Jory stopped him when he realised that he was disposing of a pup. He grew a bit smaller as a result, and is quite a bit more of a softy than a guard dog, although Jory is trying to at least train him to accompany him on hunts. Trying…
