CALL FOR TEST KNITTERS (ENG and SWE)
I'm looking for test knitters to knit my pattern Kerstin Socks. The pattern is to be tested both in English and in Swedish.
The colorwork on these socks is created using slip stitches combined with knit stitches and purl stitches. With this technique you only need to knit with one yarn colour at a time. The colorwork section of the sock uses small amounts of each colour, meaning it is a good project for using up leftover yarn. The socks are knitted cuff-down.
The socks come in nine sizes according to foot circumference in cm: 17cm (18cm) 19,5cm (20,5cm) 22,5cm (23,5cm) 25cm (26cm) 27,5cm.
The pattern has been tech edited. The socks are knitted in the round, using double-pointed needles.
As a test knitter I wish that you give feedback and point out any errors or unclear instructions. Participation in this test knit is on a volunteer basis.
Pattern release will be in autumn 2025.
If you are interested in test knitting, scroll down to fill in the Google form below.

Sad because there aren’t enough spooky plus sized pink sweaters out there? Make your own!
I just finished this sweater Saturday. It took me 32 days to knit which has to be a record. I have several projects queued in front of me that I’m excited to work on.

The next thing is a sweater for a lawn flamingo. We are having a flamingo decorating contest at work this week so this has to be done by Friday morning.

the step-by-step sweater by Florence Miller i finished a little while ago~ knitted with Drops air - i reallyyyy like this color and its quite soft and not tooo scratchy for my very sensitive skin tho i still need to wear something under it.
i think i ended but going down a needle size and knit the smallest size cause my tension is quite loose when working with bulkier weight yarn. All in all i'm very happy with the fit once blocked!

New items are up in my shop! One strand of knitted cotton triangle bunting with knitted bows in the Gilbert Baker pride flag colours, one acrylic Philly pride flag hat, and one acrylic BDSM pride flag hat.
International shipping is not currently available through the store, but I can and do ship internationally – just message me about it and pay me directly through paypal once I can get you a shipping estimate!
Sales and commissions are my only income, so reblogs really help me out a lot. I also always welcome messages with any questions or inquiries!

I'm really loving this pattern by Knitty Gritty
The top-down construction is so interesting. It's not a circular yoke or a raglan. I might definitely use it as a base for future top-down tops in the future. Also made me get use to German short rows which give the most satisfying shaping.
Using up yarn from one of my failed (frogged) projects ie The Mossy Pastel Cardi cuz I do love the colourway and the fiber (combed cotton). Yarn in question: Pokkomi Combed Cotton in Devina

Pattern release

Voila! Maven Hat pattern release. I was so pleased to test this pattern. Knit top down and finished with a tubular bind off, this was a learning experience for me. Love the result and fit of this nice project.
