chapter one: tooney

"You need to reign in your wife," Ella whispered in her ear while she hugged her tightly. Leah had taken on the job of organising visitors. She was better at saying 'no' to people and just generally putting her foot down. All Alessia knew was that Ella was coming to stay for a couple of days and Keira and Georgia were also coming to stay for a couple of days. Leah had organised everything else including cleaning up and setting up the spare room.

"What did she do?" Alessia laughed while Ella took off her shoes.

Ella looked around, "Where is she?"

"Changing Emy's nappy, I don't think she even heard the door," she smiled.

"So she can't hear me?" Ella checked.

"Yeah," Alessia laughed, "How bad was it?"

Ella shook her head, sitting down with a sigh, "She checked my vaccination record three times, I didn't even know that I had a vaccination record, then I had to call my mum to reassure her that I had already had the chickenpox because 'Yeah, I think so' wasn't good enough of an answer."

how did lucy & ona and keira & laura meet/start dating in the evie-verse?

i think i hint at this in the first chapter. keira meets laura through georgia when it's lucy's week and she goes to visit her in munich. laura was also visiting sarah zadrazil. lucy and ona started dating after hooking up at lucy staniforth's wedding. evie was also there but only for the ceremony as a flower girl, after that sophie (lucy's sister) took her for a fun day out and overnight because lucy knew she was going to be drink

Keira shook her head. That was their final try, getting the FA to pull from strings. "It's taking the fucking piss," she muttered, "Rock, paper, scissors who has to call Sarina and refuse the call-up."

"Who's refusing a call-up?" Frido and Ingrid walked into the gym.

"Evie's new passport is taking too long to get approved and sent to us, she's not eligible for an emergency one, the FA can't pull any strings because we're no longer in the EU so one of us has to stay," Keira explained, "Or pick a grandparent?" she suggested, "Can any of them take off work at this late notice?"

"Keira should stay," Frido smiled a little too much, "Isn't it her week?"

Ingrid laughed, "Ignore her, she's only saying that because Sweden's whole game plan is to mark Keira out of the game."

The other girls started to trickle in as Frido glared at Ingrid, "Don't just tell her our tactics!"

i am working on it - the coming soon chapter is currently at 15k so it's coming and it's a lot. finally fulfilling everyone's wish of lots more ona and evie as well and i have an evie in rome chapter in the works and a little one more focused on lucy and keira's coparenting relationship and an angsty ona/lucy/evie one in the works at the moment

Hi! Here’s is your Evie/Evie’s family obsessed fan 😂. I read a lot of fics here, obviously, but I prefer much more to read on AO3, I think the formatting looks tidier and easier to read. I actually followed you here from there, and I’m super glad that you keep posting there.

I finished reading your Ale/Jenni fic, loved it so much!

it's always ao3 first for me, i'll never stop posting there. been posting there over seven years now with a total of over 1.5 million words. this tumblr is just a bit of added fun along the way.

Hi just wanted to ask why don't you post your work on here instead of ao3 or both??

i prefer ao3, i always have and i've always written on ao3 - i'm not a big fan of the tumblr tag system for fics, i find fics hard to find in here and it's so easy for me to find on ao3

plus tumblr's formatting is hell and ao3 makes it quite easy to format and edit my works. also my fics tend to be quite long i don't often write shorter than 3k words and i can easily write 15k words like this nothing and then realise shit this is too long it needs chapters (in the case if is forever enough? it was 20k and in the case of a current missing pieces chapter i am working on, it's reaching the point of being split into two chapter between 7 and 10k each). tumblr has a word and text block limit, it's a little complicated but essentially a lot of my fics wouldn't fit in (also have i mentioned i hate the formatting system, it either adds too many paragraphs when you copy and paste something or not enough and it would make posting a fic a job that take me one hour or more just deleting paragraph breaks)

i think ao3 is a really accessible platform, even if you can't navigate it well to find fics, if i post a link it's quite intuitive to figure out how to read on there but if anyone wants guide to ao3 and how to filter to find fics that you actually want to read, i am happy to go with that

the point of this blog is more to post headcanons, get some requests, chat to people a bit more easily and not to post fics if that makes sense but i will let people know where to go to find my fics :))

chapter two: luuk

It had been two days since Ellie had done her ACL in the Champions League final and she was refusing to talk to anyone, not her parents, not her friends, not her family. She’d essentially just holed herself up in their bedroom and stubbornly refused to deal with any of it. She was pretending football didn’t exist. Daan watched Lissa eat her breakfast, she was a lot quieter than usual, and the whole place was a lot quieter than usual.

“Can I go take Ellie her breakfast?” Lissa broke the silence and Daan looked over at her, “I miss her.”

“She’s hurting a little bit at the moment, schatje,” Daan ruffled her hair, “Maybe in a few days.”

“Please, please, please,” Lissa begged, “I can be careful and I want to give her Luuk so she hurts less.”

chapter one: meeting lissa

Ellie only really knew Lissa from afar. She'd been dating Daan for almost a year but Daan had always kept her at arm's length from Lissa. Everyone knew they were dating except Daan's daughter, the person that Ellie knew was most important to her girlfriend. As far as Lissa knew, she was just her mum's friend and teammate no different from anyone else. Ellie was still sneaking out in the mornings and sneaking in in the evenings. Lissa was six now so she'd never known a time really before Daan had dated her ex, Beth, and the break-up had hit her hard. Ellie had seen a lot of it from afar so she understood Daan's position, it was just a bit awkward when Lissa was thrust towards her because everyone assumed they knew each other.

It was fine, though, she managed it. She just wanted to be with Daan and she knew that Daan would eventually tell her or she would find out. Until then, Ellie has started to make sure she took note of what Lissa liked. At school and to eat for dinner, the books she read and TV shows she watched. Daan talked about it a lot and she still had conversations with Lissa where she could learn things, Ellie figured she'd have to get her girlfriend’s daughter on side at some point and she was ready. She had brushed up on her dinosaur knowledge and some Dutch. The Dutch was hard, though, she was already struggling to learn French and it was just another complicated language.

I finally was able to watch the first episode of Less and Tooney's podcast and I love it so much!

Emy would be throwing those sweets down her throat and would love the conversation about Tooney and Less when they were younger

Do you think they'd talk about Emy and Leah on the podcast in your world??

the fic is set in the future, emy is born in 2026 so let's say it's still running and yes... the times that leah came up before emy:

when leah and alessia just kinda dropped that they were married, first question was 'are you married?' in the pod and alessia showed off her rings and said yes

then they focused on ella's antics as co-maid of honour (alongside lotte - ella came up with the plans, lotte executed them, it needed an adult to oversee it)

the pod is more focused on their friendship like ella hasn't brought up joe much so leah only really comes up a handful of times (normally as ella's back up when moaning about alessia's clumsiness or when alessia is complaining about having the least adventurous people with food around her)

after emy she came up a little more, alessia and ella took a break after announcing her pregnancy until after the world cup in 2027 where they start by reintroducing it as a world cup special. they have a different player on with episodes every few days and leah is one of them in an audio exclusive (mainly because emy was too in the cameras)

after that emy comes up a few times, mainly cute little stories but leah and alessia are trying to give her privacy but when she's older she'll occasionally go to the studio and eat all the sweets and run about like crazy behind camera while alessia regrets not sending her to leah's photoshoot and ella encourages it
