AS A BPOC READER AND POSSIBLE WRITER OF NAMOR X READER FICS…..

WTH IS WITH SOME OF THESE WRITERS MAKING NAMOR A PEDOPHILE AND ABUSER! I can understand a 5 or date I even say 10 year age gap, but why am I seeing fics where NAMOR saw the reader WHEN THEY WERE 10! Then proceeds to SA the reader. WTF IS WRONG WITH YALL! Pedophilia is a matter that should never be romanticized, and seeing it on this tag is very upsetting and makes me sick to my stomach.

Another thing that disgust me is the erasure of Namor’s culture. It was beautiful to see it on the screen and I wish writers would put the work it to put it in their stories as well.

A final thing I’m seeing too much on this app is the Namor x white!reader dealing out most of the problematic fics. I get that almost everyone finds Namor attractive, but if you’re gonna write a fic, do it in a RESPECTFUL way and not disregard and disrespect other minorities and races cultures and traditions in the process.

If you want to sum this up in one sentence here’s what I’m saying.

If you are going to write Namor/K'uk'ulkan x reader fanfics, BE RESPECTFUL!
