Hello, my name is Vyse. I am 24 years old and a transgender man; been out as trans since I was 16. In turn, I have been battling gender dysphoria for a long time. This GoFundMe is to aid in my Gender Reassignment Top/Mastectomy surgery.
Due to my chest size, wearing binders has become life threatening and makes life difficult. I’ve been going to a psychiatrist about my gender dysphoria for years, and she wrote a letter to my surgeons and insurance that this procedure is a medical necessity. Sadly, my insurance declined the claim, saying that surgery would not be covered due to the specific wording of our insurance plan. Despite the heartbreaking news, I will proceed with the surgery out of pocket and have a date set for October 14th. The plan at the moment is to put the bill all on credit cards so I can still assure of having the surgery. I’ve been working hard at my job and saving what I can to pay back the debt. I’m mainly setting this GoFundMe up because so many kind and loving people have asked if they could help donate in any way. I can’t thank you all enough, thank you a thousand times.
