Mostly an aesthetic/positivity blog. Feel free to ask me questions, though, I will answer so long as you're polite. I don't tag for individual blacklists, but I have personal organization tags you can check. I'm going by the name Cipher in the community.

why is lake superior so dangerous? i cant find anything online that will give my access (not american!)
it's the largest freshwater lake on the planet by surface area, you could lose a couple of smaller countries in there and not even notice. (vs Europe)
on top of that, it's a Northern lake, so the water never really gets warmer than 50 F (10 C) even in the heat of summer, and it's famous for sudden violent storms that destroy ships and buildings alike. this thing has a MASSIVE body count because it's also a major shipping thoroughfare.
tldr it wants to eat you so so bad

In light of some of the many things happening across the world this year, I thought this Pride Month needed a special illustration.
Happy Pride Month, may we all stay safe, look after each other, and keep painting our rainbows, no matter what. 🌈🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

I saw someone calling the Bible "bad plagiarism" because the stories in the early parts of Genesis have things in common with other mythological stories.
That... that's not plagiarism, that's literally just how myths work?? These stories are passed on and get changed based on what feels true to people.
You don't have to like the politics of the writer or writers of Genesis, but that doesn't make the stories in it "plagiarism." That's not how this works.

so this European clothing retailer decided to advertise their jean cuts on youtube and it's unintentionally the funniest shit I've seen today. why? well.

now important context here: in German, die (pronounced 'dee') is just a feminine article, it literally means "the".

but if an ad gets placed in the middle of an English video and doesn't use a single explicitly German word for most of the ad, even a native speaker is gonna think "they want me to die how?" it keeps getting funnier.

I mean, holy shit

i will use these as reaction images until i die

I’ve compiled all the recipes I’ve made so far into a simple PDF for everyone to download for offline use and print pages off of if you so choose. I’ll make an updated version with metric measurements once I get down to editing all the posts.
Thanks for your patience, and let me know if you find any mistakes in the PDF.
