I'm a sucker for angst and paranoid Wilhemina so it was a very enjoyable read 😅 And power imbalance in a relationship with Wilhemina is such an interesting theme to explore! I loved how you introduced it with a mention of W topping reader in the bedroom. It could even make for a nice part 2: next time W tops reader, she gets afraid reader will see it as another form of power imbalance. And then the ending was so lovely too, how they are both learning emotional maturity and how to make a relationship work. Your own maturity shines through the text and it's very nice to read.

The shift from reader's to Wilhemina's pov is a bit too abrupt though imo. Your writing is very enjoyable to read & flows well and I think would flow even better if you tried and avoided sentences that start with "However,..." or "Therefore,..." - those sound too academic and break your rhythm. This passage for instance: "You didn’t spot the red light until it was almost too late. Therefore, you had to perform an emergency stop in order to avoid running over some pedestrians with your car that had started crossing the street." would flow better imo like this: "You didn’t spot the red light until it was almost too late. You slammed on the brakes to avoid running over some pedestrians that had started crossing the street."

I just wanted to tell you that I am a big fan of your writing and that in my opinion you wrote the best Venable stories out there concerning plot and writing technique. I often come back to reread them! I especially like how you explore so many different versions and relationship dynamics of Wilhelmina. I am writing too and your approaches to Mina were my inspiration on how to build my version of her for my story. :)

I don't know if you still want to continue writing, but I would be happy to read something new from you if you decide to publish something again!

Hi! Big fan. So this is going to sound insane, but I study French and Russian at a university in England and have 2 short 600 word French essays due in tomorrow. I have a problem with grammar, when it looks right to me but then I lose so many marks cause I make so many mistakes I'm not aware of. So I was wondering if I could send you them and you could just check over the grammar? I don't really know any other native Francophone speakers, hence the ask so I'd really appreciate it.
