Sneezing and sniffling all the way downtown. I finally was able work with Chris Uhren and I believe it payed off. I really liked this video mostly because it was from a more [harsh] angle which gave it a really nice aesthetic along with my eyes having bags under them. OHIO VALLEY POST PUNK. SABO CAT, another amazing find through the means of social media. Every so often I find new music that sparks something within me. Usually because that artist is passionate about their music and if it has "weight" within my personal reality I get very excited. Sabo is new taste for me that I cannot get tired of. Let's get to the music. "Take a brick and build your masterpiece Frequent flooding doesn't stop to breathe Take a look at all the birds up close They don't want to fly south anymore Now you'll wait, as we speak The air is cool with slight humidity Now you'll wait, as we speak And when we're done, you'll say to me Ooh ooh ooh Abdicating thoughts from outer space And sowing feeling of malice Cicadas rising from the ground Seventeen years from now they will be found You'll be decrowned, as we greet the dark night that leads to a wet morning To think you wanted, oh to think you wanted oh to think that all you wanted was a resting place I think you found it, oh I think you found it While you're lowered into the ground we will make our case That is the bands newest work. "Fashy Smashing" insanely riveting. The meaning here i believe is left up to your own personal perspectives and personal experiences. With that said I will say it is evident that the feeling is something along the lines of not conforming to society and all the social constructs we create. "Take a brick and build your masterpiece..... Frequent flooding doesn't stop to breathe." Heavy. The lyrics here are very physical. You can feel the emotion that comes of those words, because our society reflects it. We are probed daily by social media for our daily commitment to the broadcasting of our lives. The constant interaction of others within and outside of our circles. The "flooding" of insight and perspective, beg to be noticed and acted on. This song truly gives a gaze at society the direction we are heading. Sabo Cat is a band to look out for. I honestly can't wait to meet you guys and write more. On Facebook @sabocatmusic
